If it was just hot air and moisture, they wouldn't spread out into the huge clouds that they do. Matter is being introduced that the moisture, already present in the atmosphere, is clinging to, thus the cloud formations. Question is, what is the 'matter' that they are spraying? Contrails dissipate, these manmade clouds do not.

Beautiful video. The exhaust coming out the engines is around 650 degrees C and they come out to a minus 56 degrees freezing air. The water vapors from the exhaust freezes into tiny crystals forming artificial clouds you see as contrails.

The camera shot is continuosly following the lead plane. At no point do you see the trail as it passes behind. How can you possibly make an assertion about con/chem trail without looking for the evidence( or lack of) of persistence. The answer is you can't. It would be impossible to see the trail from the cockpit unless you did a 180

As far as I know the A380 isn't a type associated with chemtrailing .

There us a video floating around of a 737-200 departing Yelloknife and it's leaving a trail of exhaust because it's so cold. Hot exhaust, cold air = heated particles creating condensation.
