Ron! You sound amazing like always. I was going through some pictures and found you on here. You were at my high school a few years ago, United Township High School. You travelled with us to France for the French Reeds Music Festival in La Croix-Valmer. It was definitely an honor!!
Stuttgart, Germany... Liederhalle. Ronald played "Amazing Grace" with the Canadian Brass. I didn't hear such a full sound before and after that. Incredible... You are the most expressive trumpet player
he is coming to my school tomorrow. He will be playing a solo with our wind symphony, Lockport (in Illinois), @ Midwest in chicago this thursday and friday!
i was soo excited that i met him! he came to my school with the university of illinois faculty brass quintet. he is an unbelieveable player. and im not even a trumpet player.
you are phenomenal Ron. I had the opportunity to play with you at the U of I trumpet sympsium about 6 years ago. It was truly a great experience to play with you and Dr. Ewald.
OMG you are incredible as always, you were the reason i got into playing the trumpet, my band instructor told me to listen to the canadian brass and i fell to the unique sound you have on that trumpet, i've tried to mimic it but its ur sound and i will eventually find my own sound, you are a great inspiration and keep playing great music, PS: i was sad when u and mills left the canadian brass...they will never be the same
Wow! Beautiful! Ron Romm sounds exactly the way that all of the rest of us trumpeters can only wish that we could sound like. He sets the standard, and the bar is high. And Avis plays piano so musically and beautifully also! Even more amazing, however, is the fact that the result of the two of them together is miraculously somehow equal to so much more than the sum of the two parts. What perfect ensemble playing! Chamber music at its best.
amazing! I'm fan of you Mr.Romm! I saw you playing with the canadian brass here in Brazil in 1.998! Awesome! Thanks for share your video and music! All the best!
