  • You're pretty good, Sparky. It's a rare thing to find a decent EC remake on You Tube.

  • @bettyfelon1 Thanks Betty. I've done quite a few EC covers if you're interested in having a listen. I must do some Graham Parker soon. He doesn't get covered enough.

  • @navim49 From listening to alot of Graham Parker, I'm going to guess his songs are a challenge vocally. His vocals are unique and I think he writes to accommodate those qualities. Maybe that's why people don't cover him...but they should. I love his songwriting.

  • I'm a huge fan. Thank you - you do it justice.

  • @deborahsuewho Hi Deborah. Thanks for your comment. I too love all things E.C. I attempted a few more covers from his vast collection if you're interested. You're welcome over at my channel any time!

  • @navim49 All things EC :)

  • great version of a great song, nice one navim49

  • Good version.

  • @frippp66 Ahh a proper Elvis fan, and Pogues too. You've got taste! Thanks for comment. I do 'Thousands are Sailing' if you're ever surfing my way and wanna drop in.

  • good stuff. thanks again.

  • great rendition. Can't see the chord fingering. What chords? Looks like fingering for Am and C and F with capo on 2nd fret?

  • Thanks.

    Verse = Am, then Fs and Cs

    Bridge = G Em C Am Am D G  (extends to F B flat C on 2nd v)

    Intro is mostly Am Em C with D at end of 1st phrase and Em Dm Am just before new verses.

    Hope this helps.
