When in Abu Dhabi, did you switch to a B777 to fly to Thailand? And how was the Etihad experience overall?

My folks are taking the london - Abu dhabi - Bangkok route in November :)

I when't on that flight in 2005. I believe the flight was seven hours but I was not use to long flights and i vomited somewhere in the night .

yeah the a340 does does give you such a smooth flight, cant think of another aircraft id rather be on for 7 odd hours, .......well, ok. perhaps the a380

Wow I couldn't tell whether it was still in the air or not. Only then then the spoilers slowly started to raise up that I realized it was touchdown.

Nice video :) I'm flying out on Etihad (Coral Zone) in July, and just wanted to know about the front row seat (just behind Business Class) - does it have the default pull out screen and table, or is it nonexistent?

A330 and A340 have the smoothest commercial landings I've experienced, this one is a good example.
