  • This has nothing to do with gravity. It only works in the presence of the atmosphere.

  • @quidproquo2004 THis works more efficiently without atmosphere. The question of vacuum function was settled over half a century ago, in various countries, labs and institutions, and more recently by NASA, Purdue University, Takaaki Musha, and a client of mine John Fiala, als confirmed vacuum function, and onboard power. Ion wind is too weak a force to cause levitation of even a 5-gram model by over 3 orders of magnitude. Do the math youself! And this model is over 35 grams in weight!

  • @Beamshipcaptain Can you please point me to one credible source? APS, Nature, something? Where has NASA published results backing up your claim? According to NASA's website, their tests of the biefield brown effect were negative.

  • @quidproquo2004 Look at NASA's test of the concept in vacuum! Obviously, NASA LIES. Nothing new for NASA. We do not doubt we went to the moon, but we doubt that it was done all with Internal Combustion. It was the result of GERMAN extrapolations of Robert Goddard's pioneering work, and also Thomas Townsend Brown's work.

  • if you kinda think about it, what if some one was able to build a giant one of those in the shape as an equilateral triangle, this is just a rough estimate but it should probably be around 500 ft. to 200 ft long and wide. There would probably be enough ion wind to hold up a human or 2, maybe even an engine with a prop, the possibilities are endless.

  • Ion wind cannot lift anything, it is just too weak. The larger you build these craft, and the higher K factor the dielectrics, the more is the force, which is greater in vacuum.You cant have wind in vacuum, yet tests in various countries and institutions show air is actually an impediment to this mode of transport, they function faster and more efficiently in vaccum, like VACUUM TUBES.

  • That is either an ionocraft or a piece of tin foil on strings, and neither are an example of gravitational manipulation.

  • Try it yourself. In 2000, Purdue University flew these in hard vacuum, as did TT Brown, the inventor, Takaaki Musha (Honda R & D), Hector Serrano, etc. For example: upward thrust (as was achieved w/ 250 kV @ 2 milliAmps, by Brown) of 110 grams is equal to force of 10^5 dynes. By comparison, a 2 microAmpere ion wind resulting from electrons accelerated in a 250-kiloVolt potential would yield a force of over 10^-3 dynes, almost 100-million tumes less than the lift produced by Brown's apparatus.

  • Study th eB-2 Stealth Bomber. THAT is an electrogravitcs craft in the public-domain. Leading edge charged to fifteen million Volts, and negative charges shot out the exhaust.

  • Best way is to project a positive point of space-charge outside the disc, with phase-conjugate microwaves, and make the saucer negatively-charged. No need for separate-electrodes, that is so primitive.

    Coulomb's law is the same as the Newton's law of universal gravitation!! Both share the same properties. The G constant is N*m^2/kg^2 and the k constant is N*m^2/C^2!!! If we could replace the place of weigh with charge it'll be fantastic.

    The first law represents an attractive force, the second law - attractive AND REPULSIVE!

    This all proves to me the Law of the squares and the Searl Effect.

  • Exactly right! In the effect, the cathode is attracted to the anode, and chases it around whichever direction it is oriented. Orented away from the Earth's surface, we call that vector ANTIGRAVITY. And onboard the craft you feel no stresses or G-forces or sense of motion,. just like standing on the Earth! Good research makes good science.

  • There is a two-meter Version (Beamship Variation III, on YouTube) and a 3-meter version. Larger you build them, more efficient they are and more they lift with less input-power. The 3-meter IGV craft I am building is a SLENDER DISC, a totally different technology than this simple Biefeld-Brown Device, which is just TT Brown's ELECTROKINETIC APPARATUS, in antigravitational mode. Great thing about Brown devices is you get lift, and propulsion, without any moving parts.

  • Already done 7-years ago, for research for my paper. With power maxed out on the commercial-supply at 60-Watts, can lift an additional 6-grams. Power to weight ratio is .87 Watts/gram of shi;p and payload. Highest power I ever used so far is a commercial ower supply fully-adjustable for current and Voltage, meterd, and current-limited to 1.5 MilliAmperes. max. powere I used was 40,000 Volts at 1.5 milliamps, and that multiplies out to a paltry 60-Watts per hour of electrical-energy.

  • This is the famous Biefeld-Brown Effect, that 17-year old American Scientist Thomas Townsend Brown discovered in 1927. Lot of history, most of it classified, from 1955 to 1995. I've been working with it since 1990, and published a paper.

  • Payload is entirely dependent on VOLTAGE. With the five and six-footers, power-to weight ration is approx .87 Watts per gram of model-ship and payload. Curve is rourly linear until about 30-kV @ 1 milliampere (30Watts), the graph goes geometric, with a steep curve. Look at my paper in NEW ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES July/August 2002, and the Journal OF NEW ENERGY, Vol7,#1. We keep power low for safety,(lightweight-models for low-safe-power) and to preclude x-rays and gamma-rays.

I am currently spending all my free time on the three-meter all polystyrene IGV, as part of my duties as commander in chief of manned flight for Swallowcommand.     Where is your 3 metre demonstration and what does it do? Where are Searl's 4 ton examples that you talk about elsewhere?

  • Looks a lot like electrostatic repulsion to me. As such, it would work with either polarity. The repulsion will, I think, reduce as distance from the Earth increases. How high have you made one of these go, BSCaptain? If it ever made it into space, at best it would act as an ion engine with very low thrust. Not a hope of star travel, definitely not inertia free and no more than an amusing toy.

  • !5-foot tethers were the longest we had. Indoors, they can obviously only go to the ceiling. There is NO altitude limit, why would there be?

  • If, as I suspect, this is electrostatic repulsion, it will obey the inverse square law. So you will find that the apparent thrust will drop off quite rapidly with distance from the earth's surface. As you yourself say - do the experiments. Take it outside on a calm day and use really long tethers or borrow a hanger for a day. If you can't get it up, you're wasting your time.

  • It is ELECTROSTATIC ATTRACION that makes thes fly in any direction thety are oriented(Coulomb's Law), and when inverted they get HEAVIER, when energised. Like gravity, and all force-fields in Nature, they obey the inverse-square law.

  • Japanese in Tokyo have the largest, and you can see photo of it at a lab at a University in Tokyo, floating over 40-feet above the grond, Theis is NOT electrostatic repulsion. It is electrostatic ATTRACTION. The primary lifting force comes from the cathode-plate. 3-meter device is the design of Professor John Searl, which he commissioned me to build as part of my duties as comander in chief of the Manned Flight Division of SWALLOWCOMMAND. Just a replica of the 10-foot P-11, from 1968.

  • You need at least 18KV for primary ionisation. To genrate a good force-field, you should also supply at least 1 milliapmere to replace charge lost to space by th thin wires. And two or three tethers, and the lead and return wires hold it down. Lead and return and anode-wires are .003" stainless-steel, thinner than hair.

  • When you ROTATE the condensors, and use SOLID dielectrics, with K-factors in the tens of thousands, and highest mass, the force can lift TONS, easily, and work AS WELL OR BETTER in a hard vacuum of outer-space.   • Good! Keep researching. Don't forget, this is only ONE TT Brown patent (USPat. #2,949,550), and there are many configurations of the effect, some with solid dielectric, some with air-dielectrics. Solid dielectrics have the most force, and consistently work in vacuum. In vacuum-no dielectric, so the "lifters" with close-gap that are mostly ion-thrust (which is weak, compared to BB-effect) generally dont work. This is only ONE method of BARYCENTRIC CONTROL.

  • Yes, I published my paper for peer-review, and you can find it in the JOURNAL OF NEW ENERGY, Vol 7, #1, and NEW ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES, July-Aug.2002. I delivered my paper and lectured before REAL SCIENTISTS in 2000 in Reno, Nevada at the 2nd Antigravity conference, where we presented working flying disks, and in Salt-Lake City Utah, and won the 2003 Detroit-Metro Science-fair grand-prix in Physics for three Dearborn, MI science students. Thsi works in hard vacuum. MANY successful vacuum-rigs.
