  • you keep saying your products are "all natural" but are they certified Organic? all natural can mean a lot of things.

  • nice commercial (however part 1 was true and worth watching)

  • nice commercial (however part 1 was true and worth watching)

  • its funny to read these comments and know that we all care so much about our dog's food. I agree, I don't want anything with the word "meal" in it. It's still all dead food anyway. raw meat, fresh veggies and fruit is the way to go. I did like this guy's first video though and you can learn something from him, no?

  • Animal by-products and animal meal are two different things. By-products can include beaks, feathers, feet, nails, etc. These things have no nutritional value and can be hard for your pet to digest. Animal meal (ex. chicken meal) contains meat that has had the water removed. This is to ensure a higher % protein in the food.

  • In the Uk dont they say 'by-product' instead of 'meal'?

  • In part one of this video, the guy says to avoid foods with meat meal or bone meal listed. Yet in this video he says that Life's Abundance contains things like chicken meal and fish meal. What's up with that? Please explain then what is this meat, chicken, fish or bone meal??

  • fish meal and chicken meal have a very high protien content than just regular chicken and fish. The process essentially is just removing the water from the meat. However bone meal contains bones! Bones have no nutritional value!

  • Meat meal..MEAT does not describe what animal is used, just that it is from an animal of some type, meal is basically meat ( if described or not) with the water extracted.

  • if pet food is so great and nutritional then why arent people eating it too? wake up and smell the kibble... it stinks! if you cant eat it, then neither can your pet. you buy yourself a steak for dinner, why cant Rover have one as well?

  • Because Dogs and humans are different silly! We have different digestive systems and different nutritional needs. Some things we eat are dangerous to feed to dogs, like chocolate. Giving pets the proper balance of nutrients is a lot more difficult than you know.

  • thats my point.. we can eat cereal.. they cant. but we BOTH can eat steak. and i know more about nutrients than you might think.

  • I look at it this way. To provide all of the nutrients, pro-biotics, and protein that your dog needs, you would have to feed your dog a myriad of different foods each day. Not only is this expensive, but you're also adding unnecessary calories into your dog's diet. It's very difficult to make sure that your dog is getting the correct % daily values this way. Holistic dog foods contain whole ingredients that are healthy for your dogs without artifical colors or preservatives.

  • Nature intends dogs and cats to raw, fresh, meat, internal organs, fluids, and bone. All dry food, is bad for the aniaml, even the "natural" as it is high in carbs and under goes processing. If you really want your pet to eat a great diet, the is healty, feed raw organic meat diet. Do a google search to find out how.

  • I have a 20 pound dog, a 3 pound dog and a 5 pound cat is it very expensive feeding my pets raw?? how much do u spend on your pet feeding him raw?

  • This is a very informative video. We need exposure like this. Our pets need proper nutrition just like us.

  • Keep in mind that this is a commercial for his brand of food that he is selling.

  • so? he's telling the truth though, I used to work in pet food industry, there is ALOT of horrible things in pet food. I feed my dogs raw.

  • Good for you. I feed my cats raw food also. The pet food industry is horrable. My cats are all natural. I use Celestial Pets products.

  • what should I feed my cat and dog? isn't raw feeding expensive?

  • @MelissaMagnificent I think Raw feeding is just feeding human-quality meat and stuff for dogs.

Idk what to feed if i bought a pet.

This is helpful for future pet owners and current pet owners.

  • really? you worked in pet food industry? do you know of agood dry pet food? I thinking on feeding my dog and cat raw, any tips or suggestions? i need all the info I need thanks!
