  • I love this! I have been re-inspired with new techniques for studying. I'm going to share this on my blog. Thanks for posting such great videos that help and encourage other women as they walk with the Lord. :-)

  • I soak my Holy Bible, Proverbs with highlighter. More-so than yours even.

  • I have found that writing down scriptures def. helps. I like to write particular ones out on facebook.

  • WOW! This was an AMAZING and THOROUGH video! I got some GREAT ideas for how I can make my studying better! I'm sooo glad I found your video and I'm about to go visit your site! Thank you for this video!!! :)

  • What do you do once you finish reading that family bible? Do you reread it or buy a different book to go through with your family?

  • @southernmommie we don't have a plan for after - I expect this to take years and years to complete.

  • Great tips. God bless you. I really want to get into the Word, after watching your video.

  • How do you choose a Bible verse to memorize?

  • Ur such wonderful inspiration . Are you a Baptist?

  • @TatiSsj2 I"m non-denominational ;) I consider myself a conservative evangelical.

  • I love this!

  • I love your memory verse photo album idea!!!!

  • I am excited to try the SOAP method but could you please explain the prayer section? Thanks

  • @BlackSunJamie Write out a prayer for the day. It can include praying that God helps you apply the passage that you read. The key is that you talk to God about what he just talked to you about in his word. :)

  • @Courtneylivingwell That helps a lot. Thanks Courtney :)

  • organizing scripture on index cards and photo book is a great idea!

  • I love using a China Marker... it's one of those pencils that has the string you pull and unravel the paper around it. They come in all colors available at a good art store or online. The difference between them and the regular colored pencils is that the China Marker is much softer and the "lead" is larger. It doesn't bleed through, smear, or fade, and the "lead" doesn't leave dents in the paper like the colored pencils can. They are only a dollar or so, too. Hope this helps ~ and thanks!

  • Top tips, another great video!

    God bless you!

  • great tip with the colored pencils!! i always use highlighters and marker and they do bleed through my thin pages, thats a great tip :) thanks!

  • Great ideas!!!
