Silverado........AWD. Ram......more power, but limited to RWD. You do the math. They both probably had pretty close to the same HP numbers, but with AWD.........Silverado is ALWAYS gonna come out on top in that circumstance.

I am putting down 400 rwhp when I asked the owner of the silverado he says he was at 650 hp. Never mentioned anything about rwhp. In any case, mine weighs 4860 lbs and he said his weighed 4300 lbs. So AWD, weight, hp and smaller wheels (22 compared to his 20's) did help him to beat me.

i agree, the power to weight ratio is a bitch, with the smaller wheels and overall weight he was about 1000 pounds lighter, did you spool your turbo at all for the start?

just do a 4x4 launch, my ram without a turbo and just 100 shot of spray makes the ss look like a play toy, pissed off my best friend enough he sold his 3 yr old ss that was HIGHLY tuned and bought a stock 09 dodge then chiped it, no regrets, loves the power and RELIABILITY,
