@oragamidude00 Just how retarded are you? Yes, there is a mod that allows you to do this. But this was back in Indev. Items didn't get destroyed when throw into lava, only this happened.

@darkmoon6023 It does if you don't pick it up fast enough, but it will usually bounce the item around as if it were a burning paper, in this case it seems it smelted it into glass like a furnace would do. Probably just a neat part of the code notch added in after smoking a bowl one night :D
