I could either vote for a socialist, canadian ex-pat who gave us the worst unemployment rate in the country or the guy who ran a company that robbed people of millions? I know i'm gonna not waste it in november and vote for gregory creswell
You're missing the point. It's disingenuous for DeVos to say he's a "jobs maker" when his record as the CEO of Amway is one of CUTTING jobs in Michigan. You can't blame the governor for "losing jobs" in the state of Michigan when you were personally responsible for some of those jobs leaving in the first place.
There's no missing the point. The point is about the jobs going to China, which is false. I think it is fine to talk about him letting go of people in Michigan, but that's not what the ad is about. But maybe you're right. Businesses should continue "business as usual" even when they're losing money. Can we call this the 'Granholm Business Model'? A lot of Michigan businesses need to cut jobs and downsize now and that's not DeVos's fault.
It's not false. 1400 Michigan jobs were gone, and thousands were created in China. There was $200 of capital investment in communist China that could've been made here in Michigan. I know it's shocking to think that a business could invest that much money in their home state, but I suppose exporting jobs to a communist country like China is "business as usual" these days. We'd better get used to it to, if DeVos gets elected. That, or we'll all be selling Amway soap to make a living.
So you don't buy Ford, GM or Chrysler vehicles, right? They also have plants in Communist countries. Exporting jobs to china is happening now. Why would electing DeVos make it worse?
That's a pretty stupid comparison. Because we're not against opening plants in new countries, it means we're "Pro Outsourcing"? Considering Granholm can pass the blame on everything going wrong in the state, I think we deserve a leader who's willing to take a "buck stops here" attitude to leadership.
Do you actually believe this crap? The "buck stops here"? Puh-lease. Dick DeVos is Bush lite... you know, the president who can't think of a single mistake he's made in office. Republicans never take responsibility for ANYTHING, and if you think DeVos will be any different, you need to have your haed examined.
So true. Why should companies grow and sell products in other countries? We should focus entirely on our own borders! Apparently, while it's good business-sense to grow into new markets that want your product, the MDP wants to keep Michigan companies stagnant. Unless, of course, the state government buys Keno pencils from China. That's A-Ok in Mark's book!
Now THAT is the kind of video we like to watch!!!
Well done!!! Keep the hard work!!!
We Wish you A LOT OF SUCCESS!!!
Cheers!

Nice little touch with the gong. Informative AND culturally aware. But no picture of a kung fu class eating rice? Disappointing.

Hey, if you guys are so proud of outsourcing, why not make it a central plank in the campaign?
DICK DEVOS WILL OUTSOURCE YOUR JOB TO CHINA BECAUSE IT WILL MAKE OUR ECONOMY STRONGER!
