  • How are you theycrean?? I hope you exercise your right to speak out or fight back?

  • it is never ending where I live; I am forced to reside in a foriegn country and always be in the company of my wife in order to escape daily abuse; especially from my immidiate family. Local disability and social workers have abandon me unless I will file a police report which would likely lead to more abuse towards me. I hope this is not happening to many other deaf and hard of hearing people. If so, revenge may be just around the corner.

  • Whooo! That is sooo meany! We did have a lawyer but he dropped our case! I don't know what made him. But we are using media/press/national news crews to embarrass the diocese and school, we keep battling with the diocese in front of reporters. I have several homemade movies where we were on protest march several times in 3 or 4 years but we will go back next year. We won't give up until the justice brings us all!

  • It's shame that the lawyer dropped your case. I called too many lawyers about educational abuse at my former school. All of them handed off. I stayed at jail overnight for something I didn't do. My lawyer met me, I requested to have an interpreter many times, he never brought one. He violated law and my rights. How ironic is that! I also emailed many lawyers on how to obtain a divorce certification & told them I was deaf. All of them didn't reply! It's good idea to use media/press/news! (Pt 1)

  • (Pt 2) Maybe you can use media/press/national news to also embarrass your audistic lawyer. I'm surprised I've not heard about your case on news. Good job! ;)

  • I'm not surprised. I'm disappointed that there is higher percent of deaf people that are victims of physical, verbal or negligence abuses. Inquisition occured in Europe for 6 centuries straight without break. About 800 millions in all were tortured and killed. Have St. Rita's victims meet a lawyer to sue those who were responsible for abuse? If not, why not?

  • Please. Tell us where we can go. My wife is from Thailand and is incredably shocked at the way I, a deaf person since 1968, has been treated in the US. We live in such fear here. Thailand is much more humane and civil place. Buddhist concepts reign supreme over Christian principles which very few bother to enforce.
