The speech of russian soldiers was erased by the TV company. The regulations do not allow to air offensive language and swearing, especially in the daytime, when children might be watching it.
In the original tape, there is very clear russian swearing. There were Ossetians as well. One can recognize them by the accent.
As for the city of Tskhinval - it was destroyed by the Russian air forces and artillery. You can find satellite images on the web.

The EU report last week confirmed that this number was completely exaggerated and that women and children were evacuated from Tskhinvali before the war started. Ossetian separatists were the ones mostly killed in the fighting.
