  • hi,sis, i was just wondering if this routine keeps your hair from knotting also! btw,how long does it take to twist your hair like this?

  • Ummmmm, I think, ummmmm, we all tend to go overboard with the "ummmmms" every once in a while. Especially when speaking in the manner in which you are. By that I mean when giving speeches or when giving information in a speech like manner. So ummmmm, you know, ummmmm, don't even worry about it!!! Your tutorial is awesome!!!

  • Hi

Is there someone who know the name of the song please ;) ?

    a Kiss from Paris !

  • You have nice hair...nice and springy.

  • OMG,take it easy on yourself with the umm-o-meter!I don't think there's a person on earth who doesnt over-umm once in a while!lol :) this was a very informative and delightful video, both thumbs up:)

  • you are so hard on yourself with the ummm meter. everybody does that, now that you are aware of it, you won't do it so much anymore. Great video! you did a great job and are a good speaker!!

  • beautiful hair!

  • Your hair is lovely. What products do you appy to it?

  • Hello~ My hair is type 4c I guess...is that what you have as well??? Been natural about one and a half years but just beginning to experiment with styles. Your hair is beautiful! I heard ya singing and your voice is a gift! Hope you're using it. :-) peace

  • Your hair is soo pretty! It looks very soft too! God Bless. *Vee*

  • Love your hair, I have been twisting at night too, my twist have slight broken hair straight up the twist and it sheds. It was doing fine until one day I notice the ends cur lets on the floor, So I shedding and and think I have a natural split problem can someone give me some advice Pleeeese. Thanks so much!

  • Hey i watched this yesterday and last night i twisted my hair up they way you did it. It was so much easier then the way I'm use to doing it! Thanks for the tips!

  • Im glad it helped....my hair is a little longer now so Im not as "diligent" with this regimen as I should be

  • very nice singer voice

  • U hav pretty hair. Im jealous that wen u part ur hair ur hair stays without havin 2 use clips lol.

  • ur hair looks so soft

  • Your hair is immaculate! It DOES have a curl pattern. Google "LOIS hair typing system". That will describe your pattern. I think it is L with some O pattern, spongy texture with thick strand size. Your hair has beautiful sheen and looks quite luxurious. Youe have taken great care of your hair. Bravo!

  • u have beautiful hair :)

  • Wow! you have such soft natural hair, I can see you have looked after it well.

Blessings from the other side of the pond.

  • Wow I like that hair! Cant wait to get to that point

  • whats that song badu is singing in the back ground??? love it !!! o and i lov ur hair toooo lol :)

  • Its "Danger" from the Worldwide Underground album

  • your hair loooks sooo lovely and soft!!!! really! and with this quality video in real life it must be amazing! great vid XD

  • it's nice to see someone without a curl pattern like me. I felt left out and lonely!

  • thats my hair right there. I call it 4z

  • i am in the process of transitioning to natural and we have the same hair type!!! i am paranoid that i will regret it... will this mean even more energy going towards maintenance every night??

  • Your hair looks so healthy and soft.

  • Wow, I've found somebody else with that "not really a curl pattern" curl pattern! I came close to relaxing my hair again, but I found some natural hair recipes that worked. Of course nothing will bring out our curl pattern or give elongation, but we make it work. If nothing else, we ge the bomb puff!

  • You almost look like my Aunty!! :)

    Love the hair. Much love.

  • Actually, if you can naturally wear a fro, you have a curl pattern. Yours is very tight on the kink-o-meter...but curly hair, nonetheless. BTW, you wear a fro very well. Nice texture and length.

  • i'm gonna refer your vid to my friend. she did a BC and was "pissed" at first at me and our other friend, because she doesn't have the "cute, curly" texture. *L* she's better now. i'm gonna use your method too, because sometimes i like the chunky fro.

  • Oh, please do. Id be interested to see if it helps her any. I knew "right off the rip" my hair wasnt going to have that curly texture but I can see why she would be kinda upset at first, especially if that's what she was expecting and got what I have instead....YIKES :-)

  • Everynight? Wow...lot of work...lovely hair my dear.

  • Well, only everynight if my hair feels like it needs it (i.e. dried out during the day). It really isnt that much work once you get the hang of it....Im down to about 25 minutes to twist my whole head, now that my hair is long enough for less twists.

  • your har is very pretty it reminds me of mines!!!

  • No, my hair doesnt have any "real" curl defintion....just a cloud of fluffy cotton :-)

  • We have the same hair texture! I know what you mean... all those products that bring out your "curl"...lol. Those don't work for me. What curl? But I love the kinks.

  • I just visited your channel and see that "flaxseed" gel brought out a curl pattern for you.....Im gonna give it a try to see if it does the same for me (FINGERS CROSSED)

  • Hope it does! You just have to put a lot in there and keep raking it through a lot... but the shrinkage is still there for me. Let me know how it works out!

  • from the looks of this video;

    our hair is similar.

so what do you mean you dont have a curl pattern?

because maybe im misinterpreting my own.

  • lol @ the umm meter I abuse the word too! Lovely hair :)

  • luv your hair.. your very beautiful

  • Thanks :-)

  • your hair is too cute girl. i love them curls.

  • Thank you....Im still wearing those little curls on the side too :-)

  • Your hair is sooo moisturized and healthy and rich and black, what leave in do you use? My hair turns a lighter brown when it is dry and thirsty.

  • I do them big and lazy too girl. But you do yours neater than me.

  • LOL...they're not always "so" neat :-)

  • thanks for doing this video, I'm always interested in what other's do with their hair at night. I have a short twa still, long enough for short braids or twists, and I dont know if I should be twisting up every night, or what?! Or is that too much handling of the hair.

  • when my hair was shorter, I didnt twist every night....but now that its getting longer, I have to do something with it or else it gets really tangled (and sometimes matted). Ive heard that too much handling is not good but I havent noticed anything "bad" as of yet.
