When I was a child, my father used to hear this song almost everyday. He never learned english, but still listen to it anyway. Now, approximately 10 years later, I can speak english and this was the first time I listen to this song by myself. I'm crying like if I was the little baby on the song.

Having said that, I do recall the evening a Toronto radio station first played this, decades ago now. I have some vague but definitely happened memory of the DJ saying something about the BB's just before he spun the record. Be nice to hear it from the horses mouth... BJ Thomas. He'd probably be more accessible than any of the BB's.

She's fortunate enough to have her boyfriend with her and they have had another little girl since then. Though they're doing well times can be tough. I didn't become a mother until I was in my mid-30s, but I remembered this song from my teen years and often sang it to my babies who were only 19 months apart. @denniswilsonfan Well I've heard the evidence in detail that they weren't in fact doing the background vocals. Having said that, I do recall the evening a Toronto radio station first played this, decades ago now. I have some vague but definitely happened memory of the DJ saying something about the BB's just before he spun the record. Be nice to hear it from the horses mouth... BJ Thomas. He'd probably be more accessible than any of the BB's.

She's fortunate enough to have her boyfriend with her and they have had another little girl since then. Though they're doing well times can be tough. They still have each other though and I wish them well as I listen to this song.
