I love how the trailer is for a Spanish movie and the subtitles are in Portuguese. I still haven't seen REC, although I've seen Quarantine, the American remake, and it wasn't as bad as people said it was. I can't wait to see the original (REC) because now that REC 2 is coming out I have to catch up on this. Preternatural movies are my favorite genre.

They do it because not everybody likes to read subtitles. Some people are bad readers, others---like me---find reading subtitles to distract from watching the other elements of the film. If it is the sort of flim that can be rewatched, it isn't so bad. But you can easily miss things.
