i think i might have had mine done by the same guy :L there's obviously pain when you have it done, but it's not excruciating or unbearable. if you really want it, it's definitely worth it :)

i thought this was actually a pretty okay piercing to do :P it didnt really hurt, i think the sound grossed me out tho >.> just the crunching noise, yuck XD but i honestly think my tongue piercing hurt x1000 more!

Mine was painful but bearable, and its taking its time to heal but its really not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.. btw i've had mine for a year and a half.

Ive had mine for 4 weeks now. It hurt more than anything Ive ever had done before for like 3 weeks. It doesn't hurt that bad now. I never taking it out it looks awesome

@jennym91 It's not that bad in the beginning I wasn't sure of the same thing the first week it is pretty sore. now it isn't sore in the slightest.. (: I love my rook!

Had my Rook done a year ago. I did hurt but it was pretty quick, so it was not bad at all. Just had it removed, got bored with it. Had the hoop and had no problems with it at all, just had the crusty's every day, removed with a q-tip...

i got mine like a week ago..it didnt hurt at all,i dont get why everyone thinks it hurts..

..i have a hoop in mine,i wanted the barbell but the dude said that hoops are better for it to heal or somethng

i love the way a rook piercing looks. I got mine pierced last year. It was a little painful. more then my tragus. but its worth it and looks great when its healed. :)
