OMG - I thought this was impossible, but I just got 3 stars on this level!! AND a hard earners award! This sounds so nerdy, but my day is complete. :)

You can win without the rat... just make sure your cash flow is high.. I started first round with 3 mana things and that cage monster and used one bomb... just keep putting money out and then I started filling up all the aisles with the saw's

This strategy no longer works. The heroes do not carry treasure back to the room if they get it mid-way, they turn around and take it out the front.
