That's how I did it:

My party was LVL 81 Vaan, LVL 79 Basch and LVL 80 Ashe, with Basch as the leader (OBS: I didn't know of any Hell Wyrm while I was leveling up, that's why the high levels.). Vaan had a Masamune (w/ Genji Gloves equipped), Magepower Shishak and Maximilian. Basch had a Zodiac Spear, Renewing Morion and Minerva Bustier, also a Bubble Suit. Ashe had a Tournesol, Golden Skullcap, (forgot the armor) and Sage's Ring. No need for any strategies, just beat it up normally.

Once you caste Reverse on something(ally or enemy) it will make it to where if you attack the reversed target you will actually heal them but if you use healing items or spells you will do damage. Probably one of the weirdest spells ive ever seen in a RPG lol.

umm theres a mark that u kill in the i believe very eastern part of the cerobbi step, and after u kill it go to the three windmills that are in the middle of the area. around them should be a thing that makes a ! above ur head and examine it, u shud be talking to a moogle and he will state the number of the windmill. Find the tenth windmill and a guy will appear that gives u the key (AFTER you kill the mark, alls i remember is hes a wyvern type mark)

I've got all my guys at lvl 55 now. Too damn weak for Hell Wyrm but I've killed all the things lvl 50 and down already! Wish there was something in between... Think I'll give Ultima a try

yea i think you'll be able to kill ultima it's not that strong!

but don't try zodiark just yet! try leveling up at the pharos punumbra, and definitely try getting tournesol!!

ok ultima is a fking piece of shit. shes at the TOP of the crystal at waygate XIX theres a path with a empty room with her in it. but be sure to watch out for her Holyja if theres is some find armor that absorbs Holy or is immune.

go beat ultima is a piece of shit.

then zodiark get tournesol, and excalibur bersek your two strongest characters, +haste+protect+ bubble belt enter with only one character and dispel zodiark make sure to equip a dark mask for all 3 characters, then get out your berseked characters and murder the bitcht!! he'll go down in about 4-5 minutes remember to cure too.

then you have a choice between omega and hellwyrm I would go for omega he sucks.

yiazmat is a bitch I'm still trying kill him!

deos any 1 know a good place 2 level up in this game im on the final boss and im level 61 vaan and level 60 with bolther and ashe and all the others are like level 40 and how do u get the spell reverse?

Im late with this but you can level up easily in the Tchita uplands for the lvl.40's futher on u can go to the deeper parts of henne mines in a little hall were u can spawn abysteel by pressing a switch,just cast sleepga on em and kill em with curaja (have reverse status)

You can still beat him in those levels if you have two people in 60 it will be quite easy, my avarage levels are 52-56 and I am kicking his ass!

There isn't an ascetic key. If you traveled the path correctly it just unlocks.

No there is a key. But it's called the Ageworn Key. You get if after defeating the Vyrall, then you have to find Windmill No. 10 and give the Dragon Scale to the old guy. He gives you the key.

defeat the vyraal mark on the cerobbi steppe and get the dragon scale from the fight then find the guy on windmill number 10 n listen, well read, him chat some ass about falling asleep then he'll ask you for the dragon scale so give it to him and he gives you the age worn key, sweet

I have 5 parts to the video spanning about 43 minutes or so. Take off about 10 for showing where he's at, my set up, the bestiary, and the Pirate's Den afterward it took me about 30 minutes.

This was my second time fighting him.

its called vorres its in the nechrohol of nabudis in the Hall of the Ivory Covenant. make sure the dark elemetal is following you (but don't kill it) that's the only way to make vorres appear. steal the soul powder from him but don't kill it go back two areas and do the same thing all over again.

hey a tip to get hell gate's flame don't kill or chain cerberus just poach them you get a hell gate's flame really fast!

you will also need 6 wargod's bands to get tournesol, get them from the leynir's at nabreus dead lands, don't kill them pouch them is far easier to get the wargod's band that way.

and for the high arcanas go do the dustia thing at dalmasca westersand is not that hard to get high arcanas from him. and is far easier than getting a soul of thamasa and 10 arcanas!! XD

Dustia is a Rare Monster in the Dalmasca Westersand that appears in the Corridor of sand when one of your party members only has 10% of their max hp left. like if ur character has 5000 hp, they need to have 500 hp. Also you need the Canopic Jar which allows respawnable rare game monsters to drop High Arcana. Also another way is to farm High Arcana off of Adrammelech(steal from him, then leave and come back, and steal again)

And that dustia thing means, to kill him, loot, and leave the area before the EXP and LP totals show up so that you can reenter the area and he will spawn again, instead of having to zone 2 screens over

Yep you can get Soul Powders from Etems, but you don't need to chain as its a monograph drop(Warmage). also a 6% chance to steal with thief's cuffs. But as jars120 said, easier with vorres..though I accidently killed him....damn you Zodiac spear

you need 4 scorpio gem which you can get stealing from buers in the zertinan caverns, 3 charged gizzard just poach the thunderbugs in henne mines they are in crossover B just examine the chests in the soutwest area, and 3 wyrm bones which you can steal from skullwyrm in zertinan cavern they also will drop the wyrm bone so try stealing first and then kill them make shure to equip thief's cuffs when stealing!!

I beat him only in 15 minute ,just try decoy and Reverse gambit to lure him..use expose & use berserk to strongest char you have, use masamune + genji set armor..make this char HP critical..and See what happen..you can make more than 12 hit in 1 strike....
