@jadeninja7 my tutorials are for those who play by ear or follow the sheetmusic. If you do neither, try to focus on my finger movement, not the keys under them. If I touch my nose you can touch yours, without seeing. Same principle. Mirror neurons. Good luck.

I just wanted to ask for your advice, I play piano by ear and i'm currently having lessons at school to learn sheet music..but i'm really strugling to read the notes i was wondering if you could give me some advice? thanks x

@abbiejeffbabey13 Draw the treble and base staff, then draw in three main C's. Memorize the position while you press that piano key.

The rest is like climbing up and down a ladder (both the lines and the spaces are steps). Only seven notes A to G, can't be that bad, right? Memorize where ONE note goes each day.

Repeat until you can instantly identify the key that matches the note on the staff. You can do it! :)

(Ignore the black keys. Those are mostly notated with sharps and flats.)

I assume you mean it doesn't sound right to you. There are two types of transcriptions/arrangements. You are looking for an ACCOMPANIMENT. There must be some out there. Every transcriber is free to use his/her own interpretation. It's not a matter of right or wrong. I have zero composing skills and play whatever is sent to me. Maybe you can compose a version for me to play. :)
