  • @swapz1025 Thanks man, switched to electric guitar. Hope i'll be able to shred on it as well!

  • cool!

  • so good a great keyboard player xD ººº

hey men play holy ligth of stratovarius

  • so good a great keyboard player xD ººº

  • tutorial on increasing finger speed please????????

  • You play with your nose?! AWESOME ;DD

  • @jesuislepluscool if mozart could, so can i :]

  • Nice chops..

  • Your keyboard sounds like it's out of tuning O.o

  • @Blader999 it is i'm afraid.

It happened because the pitch bend knob got broken (guess from an excessive use).

  • @siliwolf

    why don't you remove it?

  • @Blader999 i wanted to use pitch bend so badly, i couldn't resist it :]

  • @siliwolf fix it then, I couldn't enjoy playing on a detuned keyboard o.0

  • @MrBuxton09 Hi,

Though i've been playing sinvce 95, i did a few years break and started playing at around the end of 2005. Everything you see on my videos, was achieved was achieved since i've started playing again.

  • @mysticchip i think its some japanese metal improv solo duel or something like that, cant remember the song name tho hope that helps lol

  • that was good but that piano has a HORRIBLE guitar sound nothing against you bro.

  • @treyguy09 yeah, i know.. nothing i can do about it :\

    and thanks!

  • That was some super clean shredding! Nice job man! i liked the riff too!

  • @mysticchip google: youtube to mp3 converter its easy and the quality is bearable

  • @mysticchip hey, you can download youtubes flv file onto your computer (by using some free firefox extension to do so). then, use some FLV converter to make an Avi out of it. then - use virtualdub to strip away the audio track and there you have it.

  • It's a plain keyboard without the weighted keys you usually get on pianos (or semi weighted on electric pianos). Don't think i've ever played a real piano aside from trying once or twice in a music shop. Would wish i had one though :)

  • @mysticchip Hey Mystic,

this thing you hear, is a complete improvisation done completely by ear.

it's loosely (very loosely to be frank) based on the jani vs. syu vid (look it up on youtube)

If you'd like, you can read the comments between countfuzzball and myself (somwhere below) since i've generally explained how one can achieve such effect :)

  • thanks for the great comment mate,

    much appreciated =]

  • Haha, I love that sound you're using. Sick vid dude.

  • it's called my detuned corrosive keyboard with Yamahas attempt to create a guitar sound. took it about 10 years to get there, but you can get it for less if you'll break your pitch wheel and place the keys in an 80% humidity chamber :P

  • @siliwolf If your keyboard has monophonic programs then you should use them for shred tracks.

  • @andrewh817 i'm afraid it doesn't

  • 1990s Capcom game.

  • @AmericanVideoGames

Yeah kinda - i like writing those and mods (keygen style) =]

  • it's no fake... i can play so fast too..or faster as the guy in this video..it is extrem hard work but it works ... :)

  • I think its cool, its a bit street fighter kens them

  • lols its not in tune

  • O...... M........ G! That was effing rediculous!

  • I so don't believe this video. In other words, it's fake.

  • @DarkWolfen

    why is it fake?

  • sick shredding. my jaw dropped more than once. keep it up!

  • thanks bro, feel free to share it with all of your friends :)

  • wow this is awesome. how do you practices to get faster

  • Hey, read the comments below: i've explained this guy exactly how i've managed it :)

  • man ive been playin since i was six and now ten and even get close to playing like that

  • Hey Gothscreamo, I'm gonna upload a shred video soon-ish (in the style of siliwolf), but I basically learned to play relatively fast-ish by getting a metronome and practicing a certain scale (say A or G minor pentatonic) slowly up and down 3 octaves and then slowly increasing the speed, pushing myself..

Keep on doing this for for a few weeks and you should notice an improvement.

It helps to just become comfortable with where the notes on the keyboard are and your fingers will fall into place!

  • Oh my god....... O_O that's not even cool how freaking amazing that was!!!!!!

  • I didn't realize so many people were doing keyboard shredding. If you have time, could you check mine out and give pointers maybe?

  • will do :)

  • This is pretty cool.

But is everything of this improvised?

    Then IT'S SUPER AWESOME! ^^

  • thanks man, completely improvised

  • Also, fwiw, I was trying to play along with this. :P Well the melodies at least, and your lead is out of tune by +1 note and then tuning my keyboard itself to about -25 cents. :P

  • you got skills man. I was blown away

  • thanks man, i totally appreciate it :)

  • This is awesome and all but how come your lead is sorta detuned?

  • the keys are broken so the left and right sides are desynched in like a quarter of a tone :((

  • woow that's realy perfect and amaeing im learning to play lkike you man i want a lesson for this

  • heh, thanks man, i really appreciate it =]

  • ;) that was realy cool

  • I agree, what fingering do you use throughout this on the right hand? It's quite cool!!

  • Are you sure you used JUST the A minor scale? I could've sworn you had thrown in a Eb somewhere there.. Still, a very cool shred!

  • you're partially correct:

The basic scale/left hand chord progression is on the A minor scale, however the right hand progression is A C D D#/Eb E G which is actually a transposition of the D blues scale.

oh, and hanks for the comment mate (:

  • mm, mind if I ask how you managed to get such fast playing ability? Seriously, it's very impressive!

  • Someone once said that guitarists are the best and most creative musicians because they play, compose and learn from a chord or a harmony point of view. It is harmony that needs to be mastered first. I got it through a coincidence and the speed is actually a side effect of knowing how the sound will come out prior to even hitting the keys and through this point of view, the speed comes way faster than anything i came across with :)

  • .....AWSOME

  • That's really sweet! It'd be a perfect soundtrack for an action game for NES =)

  • i wish we'd still have NES :P

  • ;););););););););););0;);0 i really dont now how its possible that only437 ones ave seen your video man!

  • That's my internet curse ;)

  • man at any times i watch it that make me feel poor... AWESOME MAN:)

  • I hope you are right man, i will try to push a demo this weak or the next (average cality stuff nided);)

  • really awesome man you play insanely more good than me man you discourage me

  • Oh 'cmon man , i'm sure you can pull some amazing things yourself - it's all about excelling in your own personal style =]

  • Wow man youre good :) keep it up

  • Good.

  • sexy XD

  • jani v syu

  • same concept, different scale & impro =]

  • awesome keyboard playing man !
