If you're really vlogging for public, the best idea is to focus on something you've experienced in your day/week/life that others can relate to. For example: if you've done 60 push ups, you can tell how important fitness is for you and ask the viewer if he does fitness, too. Then you get interaction.
Oh, I'm just a guy who likes to watch videos on YouTube and comment on them. I found your video through the "Recent videos" section and since I like vlogs, I figured I'd just leave a comment on it.
