Actually, this is a very well-written and -well-performed song. I like the verse chord changes. I like the extended chord progression in the verse and then the move to the shorter chord progressions in the other parts. I suggest having the drums move to a straighter high-hat rhythm. The singer really set the mood of the song and the musicians didn't get in the way of letting the song breathe. Great job.
