Hay idiotas y tu, ¿como se te ocurre comparar telefonos de distintas gamas?

Tenga mas coerencia con las cosas que publica amigo, oviamente el iphone funciona muchisimo mejor, pero su comparación no contepla que el nokia 5530 NO tiene aceleración por GPU lo cual merma mucho el rendimiento de las distintas aplicaciones del celular.

Opera Mobile 10 is incredible fast on the 5530. I've read and seen much about the iPhone and I can't understand why people pay so much money for a thing which can't even multitask or has a flash. Means you can't even play music in the background while doing something else. Guess the iPhone is more an in-thing than a worth for the money phone. And then the 5530 is still 4 times cheaper than an iPhone 3GS :P. It's a fantastic phone, love it :)!

@nbonato Good luck. I've to say it is a cheap phone, but it even wins against much more expensive phones. A friend got an Android phone (2.5 times as expensive as the 5530) and he couldn't even view a video of higher quality, while I could see the same video on my 5530 ;)!

@nbonato & kata111994: Battery is just average, I can get up to 4 days with every day +- 1 hour Wi-Fi (with YouTube), 3 hours radio, SMS, photo(s). Charging takes 1-1.5 hours. And about the "fact" the Nokia is for poor people... Come on, if you're happy with what you've got, you don't need something extremely expensive. And by the way, you often pay the brand more than the phone itself when you buy a very expensive one, like always with everything ;)!

@nbonato No problem. Anyway, there's still something bad about this phone, it's only one thing, but it can get problems too easy (luckily easy-to-fix). One of it is that when you push a button twice very fast while it's loading something, it is possible that the button won't work anymore so you will have to reset it (only takes 30 secs). Beside that, it gets some small problems while you aren't doing anything "wrong". It's still a nice worth for the money phone + the camera is very nice.

If you're trying to demonstrate how unresponsive the nokia is, you're being very silly. Firstly the iPhone costs three times more, not a fair comparison. Also while I admit the 5530 is far from perfect, it's more responsive than your demonstration gives credit for, I suspect you are just used to the iphone.

Try loading Opera Mobile 10. It's much faster than the default Symbian 9.5 browser. Has a lot more features too and it displays everything, even advanced Flash content. Speed-wise, it's as fast as the Samsung Jet's browser. I don't know about the Corby you're talking about as I haven't tried it. But Opera Mobile 10 on a 5800 is very, very satisfactory IMO. Even better than the Safari on my 2nd gen iTouch.

You can buy three (yes, 3) Nokia 5530s for the price of an iPhone.

Besides, the 5530's browser can display any Flash content you throw at it. The Safari starts betraying me when I load advanced Flash pages like YouTube. Safari is rather fast and 90% usable, but it doesn't display everything. But the fact that it's that usable means everything. I got a chance to try Opera Mobile 10 on a 5800 last week. It's quite fast. A bit slower than Safari, but a lot faster than the default browser.
