Don't know, but it'll certainly look smarter. Although I rarely have to iron mine though. I wash them on a delicate cycle in the washing machine (30 degrees), and dry them naturally on a hanger. Every now and then, as they're drying, I smooth out any creases by hand...which will be few if you remove them from the washer the moment it stops. I only wear Lacoste and Ralph Lauren, so I don't know if cotton quality plays a part, but they always look crease free by the end of my rituals.
