  • I'm sorry for anyone else with headphones or earbuds and volume way up to have to hear that gunshot

  • @tomasusan I agree whith you, I was infact talking about the Graham Norton animation as the mistake.

  • He's got pretty good aim for someone who doesn't normally use guns. :P

  • @evilemperordude

he's over 900 years old. im sure he's gotten SOME experience with guns within that time.

  • Ohh Matt <3

  • "O, big big mistake, really huge" Matt Smith ironically sums up the BBC's mistake as it happens. :P

  • @HamishIanFinlay Matt Smith is the most critically acclaimed and best received Doctor since Tom Baker.

  • if i could die from sheer badassery, just by watching this video I'd be dead at least 10 times over

  • by far the angels and the skeleton people from the library episode were the scariest monsters

  • @companymen42 the skeleton people were called the vastanerada

  • @companymen42 The Angels and the Silence, the Skeleton people were laughable.

  • dam that Graham Norton Virus! infected Doctor Who!!

  • If he missed the shot it would have been REALLY awkward :)

  • @absurdrhino

Or if he then looked down and everyone else was still on the ground going "Oh, the GUNSHOT was the signal!"

  • YOUR PENIS

  • one of the best moments ever in the new series <3

  • LIKE A BOSS

  • doctor:theres one you never put in a trap if your smart if you value your continue excistence if you have any plans about seeing tommorow theres one thing you never ever put in a trap

    angel bob:whats that sir

    doctor:me

    BANG!!!

  • @Mariomad101

What would deaf people do without people like you?

  • It's a cool little speech, but I just don't get that he's angry. I mean, I KNOW he's supposed to be, but he just sounds really annoyed more than anything.

  • @organs Watch the episode with the rebirth of the Daleks, and you'll see him angry. Like, psychotically so.

  • @SubaruOfTheTriad I've seen everything with him as The Doctor. Sometimes he's more angry than at other times, but I just don't get the dynamic range of emotion with him as I did with Tennant. Oh well...

  • @organs Are you kidding? Tennant had two settings: shouting and crying.

  • @MisterAlexGabriel Shouting, crying, pondering, exploratory enthusiasm, irreverent curiosity.... he had much more than two settings. Smith pretty much just has the one note. He sounds the same pondering a problem as he does chewing someone out angrily.

  • @MisterAlexGabriel And Smith has...nothing. He is pretty much the same whatever he does. I personally feel absolutely nothing at all besides, "I want to smack him now" when I watch his episodes. But, that's not the same for everyone. Other people feel that way about Tennant, or Eccleston, or any of the Doctors. It's a matter of personal opinion.

  • @havoc697

    @mhisanifox

We have no need of comfy chairs : )

  • I want to see tommorow

  • They need to do a movie for the 50th anniversary with eccleston tennant smith and mcgann like they did with the five doctors and the three doctors

  • For me, this is one of Matt Smith's most badass moments as the Doctor. Curse Graham Fucking Norton for that damn as in this scene.

Channels should NEVER put ads like that in tv shows. It ruins them. Especially in clifffhanger moments like these.

  • Looks Like Graham Norton Is The 12th Doctor LOL.

  • this episode was freaky but it really showed that the Doctor cares about Amy. but really what is his name?

  • @jenna158 If you mean "Who plays the eleventh doctor" It's Matt Smith.

  • Yeah, but we have comfy chairs, didn't I mention?

  • @havoc697 "I made him say comfy chairs"

  • The Doctor? With a GUN?

    This is fake.

  • @DJBRON3 While not frequent, the Doctor in the older series did use guns against his enemies. It's really only until the 10th incarnation that "no guns" idea was emphasized . I loved Tennant in the role, but Matt Smith has taken the character into newer directions, which keeps the show from becoming stale.

  • Hey, Angel Bob, how's life?

  • BAMF!!!

  • fuck you graham norton

  • God, I remember that annoying banner with Graham Norton on it pissing me off when this aired. B( NEVER DO THAT AGAIN BBC. NEVER.

  • watch doctor who from the beginning. like the very beginning and you will finally understand why he does not use guns and what he really means by never use guns.

  • @thatdude6109 but what if you can't find the doctors that happened before the ninth? I can't and it sucks.

  • One person put the Doctor in a trap.

  • @16BBWlover Duh, angel

  • @16BBWlover Duh, angel

  • i love how the angels have torn out this guy's vocal cords in order to talk to the docotr, yet they are as polite as can be

  • @227060 That's Doctor Who for you. Gotta love it! Lol. :)

  • @UltimateSith1 true, true, the beeb's public service message has to get out there somehow, why not through stoen serial killers jiggling a guys insides over a radio

  • Isn't this the second time Norton fucked up an episode? Some voiceover happened didn't it, with him cackling in the background.

  • 0:18 i never noticed that freckle/spot/whatever on Amy's cheek before.

  • who is that person on the bottom of the screen

  • the only time he needs a gun is when he is in a trap and that's why this time its okey

  • @1066gull Yeah. And everything that put him in there no longer existed...

  • BADASSERY AT ITS FINEST

  • That is the perfect way to end a show when you can't figure out a way to do it. It then helps push for the doctors awesomeness. He got out of a trap that was inescapable, and delivered a mega awesome speech before it.

  • @mitch121192 imagine the fail level if it didnt work?

  • graryam norton is annoying at the end

  • I think its weird in the related videos i looked at one video, "The doctor's most epic speech" i was about to click on it and then i stopped and say above it, "Actualy this is the doctor's most epic speech", and im like Uhhhhhhhhhhh...

  • the gun fired but the Dr's finger didn't move.

  • @LestatandBerial

Watch closely and it does. Secondly, you dont yank the trigger, its a slow squeeze.

  • cartoon grayhamXD

  • Only angel Bob disliked.

  • @TorinoAndGriffith what happened to the other angels?

  • @TorinoAndGriffith and 1 of the weeping angels

  • @murk1z And Sally Sparrow.

  • The 11th juist comes out with these epic speeches..

  • Oi, what happened to the doctor hating guns? O_o

  • @Garanta27 new Doctro, new rules.

  • @Garanta27 Well, his girlfriend totes one around so it's hard to be totally anti-gun. He would still never shoot anybody with one, though.

  • @Garanta27 He shot the ceiling.

  • @WilloxN Yea, I know that now :) I hadn't watched the episode when I commented that, tho.

This episode was the best :D

  • @Garanta27 hmm what was one of the very last things the tenth doctor did... hmmm, oh yeah using a gun.

  • @LuckeMasse WELL, eleven never actually shot anyone in that scene. :U And Ten was still an ass at times, like that episode where he first met Donna and he never gave that spider woman a chance. Ten growing up as Eleven was a good step, actually. I especially liked how he didn't resort to any particular violence (aside from kidnapping but he never meant any harm to them) during the Silurian episode.

  • *BANG*

  • Graham Norton...............wooooow

  • One person got trapped.

  • Didn't anyone tell you? There's one thing you never put in a Doctor Who episode if you're smart, if you value your continued career as an editor, if you have any plans about working tomorrow there's one thing you never ever put in a Doctor Who episode.... a banner with a cartoon of Graham fucking Norton.

  • @littleradge It's kind of funny because he's a huge DW fan, so he has an episode where he puts a banner of himself in the middle of the screen. and then has a cartoon dalek blow up cartoon him.

  • @littleradge Thats why on the Graham Norton show they did a cartoon of a dalek exterminating him and I cheered and turned it off becuase I didnt really care about the rest I just wanted him to pay for what he did to one the most epic moments in Doctor Who

  • asshole bbc ruining it with the GN trailer

  • press 0 over and over, it looks like Matts jacking off

  • Hey, guess what. He was put in a trap at the end of series 6.

    GUESS WHAT HAPPENED.

  • Keep 6 pressed to see Matt Smith chewing ^^.

  • DAMN Graham Norton for interrupting this EPIC moment! This was Matt Smith's moment, it belonged to him!

None of us wanted to know that Over the BLOODY Rainbow was on next!

  • At least Graham Norton made up for it by getting exterminated by a dalek.

  • There's one thing you shouldnt put in a dramtic ending. DAMN ADVERTS

  • I wasn't sure if I'd like Matt Smith but he's starting to grow on me.

  • @FamilyOfMan1975

I was skeptical when I first saw him in the Regeneration scene in the End of Time. But I think I misjudged him. He's been pretty decent so far.

  • There's one thing you never, ever put in a trap...

    What would that be sir?

    @TheSyndicateProject ...

    :)

  • Rangers lead the way!

  • there is one thing you never EVER put in a trap

    what would that be sir?

A Dancing cartoon of Graham Norton

  • There's one thing you never put in Doctor Who, if you're smart, if you value your continued ratings, if you have any plans about avoiding a flood of complaints, there's one thing you never, ever put in Doctor Who.

    Graham Norton.

  • And what would that be, sir? Graham Norton!!

  • Graham Norton ruins it at 0:04

    :(

  • Theres one thing you never ever put in a trap... and what would that be... graham norton.

  • I see it know. when he was in a trap here, he fired a gun, triggered the gravity and the wiped out the angels. when he was in a trap in the pandorica, the universe exploded. and in day of the moon, he escaped from the perfect prison. he is like the alien Houdini or something.

  • There's one thing you never put in a trap if your smart, if you value your continuing exista- UP NEXT OVER THE RAINBOW!

  • i haven't seen too many episodes recently but i remember when david tennant was the doctor he was completely against guns? is he cool with them now or something?

  • @TheKaiser8 Actually 10th used or held a gun (End of time, Dr.'s daughter) on a couple of occasions and even 4th threatened with a gun once (Seeds of doom) but the doctor either uses it to buy time or to take care of an obstacle (like in this scene where he shuts off the gravity) he just doesn't KILL with guns

  • @TheKaiser8 No, it's - a long story. Watch the episodes of season five, the Time of Angels and Flesh and Stone. It's a two part story. He doesn't like guns, and he's against using them to kill. But he's not using the gun to kill here.

  • @IdioticPivots11 He used to use guns all the time, I was rather surprised when David Tennant's doctor seemed to hate guns with a passion. Even the 5th Doctor who's usually seen as the softy used a gun several times.

  • @eateroftheflame He developed a hatred of them after the time war. War changed the doctor in many ways. That is one of them.

  • @XtremeGoose But the ninth doctor used guns twice and blew up a room full of Slitheen with a missile

  • @eateroftheflame There are 2 answers to that:

    1. He never actually fired the gun, and the missile was actually sent by micky.

    2. He was far darker than #10, and rose changed him. That was the arc of the whole series. #9 was still a warrior. Remember #10 did kill the sycorax outright. So hes not against killing in general.

  • @SOSOtaku Hey, no problem. Glad you liked the comment. Hope you're enjoying the new series--great beginning!

  • The Master disliked this.

  • The power of these little speeches brings tears to my eyes every time. Epic.

  • DAMN IT NORTON!

  • So glad I live in Wales! We didn't get the Graham Norton animation at the end! :D

  • @hiphel It wasn't on the HD broadcast either; I'm not in Wales and I didn't get it.

  • Comment removed

  • @MEGAXSTU yes he would. he'd just never do it when it was aimed at any living thing

  • @Stevie2Sxc actually, he did. there was a scene in a doctor who episode (I just saw the scene, not the episode so, dont ask me which) where the tenth doctor aims a gun at the master, tells him to move, and fires it at a machine.

  • @MEGAXSTU nope. he did. pointed a gun at the master, said "move" and shot a machine.

  • @ShinigamiDuoDS

Oh I see, thank you for informing me of this.

  • i remember when i watched this episode seeing the graham norton thing and i was like ''for cryin out loud norton we dnt caree'' but i never new it would be as big as this with peopel saying it ruined the last moments of doctor who(which it did) but still..........lol

  • woop

  • It would have been alot better if he shot Graham.

  • You know things are bad when the Doctor uses a gun.

  • There's one thing you never keep from a Doctor Who script if you're smart, if you value your show's continued existence, if you have any plans about seeing rave reviews, there's one thing you never ever keep from a Doctor Who script...Steven Moffat.

  • @Avyncentia

    Your comment: EPIC. XDDD

  • @Avyncentia Good point. You should always keep Russell. He was a genius.

  • @Avyncentia And yet you copied his line.

  • @adhiluhur Yes, of course I did. That was the point of the comment. Steven Moffat writes amazing scripts.

  • @Avyncentia why does everyone hate on Steven? I think every episode of Season 5 was epic so fraug off ya pansy

  • @Spagittified you misred what he typed, he said "one thing you NEVER keep from doctor who script if you're smart...steven Moffat", it was a complement.

  • @Twismyer Oh... My bad XD

  • @MrThePervKitty24 No, only the 10th doctor hated guns and even he used one a few times, none of the others cared

  • I love Amy's look... She's all like, "Doctor, what are you doing? Oh, shi..." BOOM!!!!

  • Actually. He fired the gun. The gun powder exploded from the concentration of his sheer awesomeness! XD

  • The bbc hasn't done any on screen banding like this since have they? (if they have they've been keeping it away from dr who, and rightly so)

  • Something tells me he's pissed. Hmmmmm. . . .

  • I LOVE DAvid Tennat's Doctor but Mat Smith is growing on me

  • MOST AWESOME, BADASS AND EPIC QUOTE IN THE ALL UNIVERSE !!!

  • @MJPriseCenter I'd say the "everything's gonna be fine" lines in episode 1 of the season are good competition.

  • Sounds like something Id say

  • Ironically, when the doctor was placed in a trap near the end of series 5, guess what happened to all his enemies?

  • @180223 Brilliant logic

  • @180223 They all died. The Pandorica was a vault; Nothing can get in or out. It's practically indestructible. So he outlived them all while the universe was creating itself around it.

  • @180223 I wouldn't call it irony. The Doctor's enemies put him in a trap, so all of existence was almost destroyed. That's exactly what we should have expected to happen.

  • @180223 ....Enemies go booooom....

  • @candymandy224 nope they got unwritten then came back with the rest of the universe :P I'm going easy on you cuz i'm a newer whovian and i dot think ive earned screaming rights yet :DDDD

  • @cupcakezanddowneyjr Oh yeah, I know but they went "boom" in the beginning. Then they came back. They do that a LOT.

  • @180223 mfw you don't know what irony is.

  • @180223

That's probably why. "Put me in a trap all the villains of the show disappear, SUCKAHZ!!!"

  • @180223 Actually, that's not irony. Irony would be if the exact opposite from what he said would happen. Look up irony, will you?

  • @3nyk0b35 It's ironic because the doctor tells his enemies NOT to put him in a trap. But the opposite happens during the last 2 episodes and his enemies all end up fading from existence, like what he had warned in this scene.

So I used the word in the right context. And don't make yourself sound so 'proud' in your comments. It can make people angry....

  • @180223 Uh, well yeah exactly what he said happened didn't it? He got out and defeated everybody. That's not irony my friend.

  • @180223 If they died... that's not irony.

  • @DeathnoteBB No, they never existed.

  • @LestatandBerial I'm not sure if that's irony or not then.

  • @LestatandBerial on a related note, that is awesome.

  • i've bought the HD of this ep so i don't need to see Graham at the bottom whenever i rewatch it :P

  • Literally the best line in the whole series, and Graham Norton pops up and ruins it xD

  • I was hoping for a spoof :P

  • @smallville160 thank you very much!

  • there's one thing you never put on dr who if you're smart, if you value your tv license, if you have any plans on watching next week there's one thing you never, ever put on doctor who: GRAHAM NORTON

  • @daleksvscybermen Can I just say .... well done (not taking piss)

  • @sjgambrill thanks

  • I remember that lol The new episode that had the banner over it and Graham got complaints xD

  • The big big mistake is Graham Norton.

  • Every time i watch this scene i can't help but laugh and think back to all the Smith haters that spammed the series trailer, saying stuff like "zOMG the Doctor never fires a gun, they've ruined it. ring back Tennant wahhhhh"

  • @Tekjammin Tennant fired a gun in his final episode.

  • @2TailedKitsune88

    I know... ?

  • its funny how in the finale all those aliens put him in a trap and then they all got wiped from existence.

  • @milllybob Case and point, I suppose :P

  • Ha ha, take that Russel T Davies, this is how you write a threatening quote
