  • wait, you're saying that there aren't all that much nutrients in worm castings, but what are you feeding your worms? just rotted veg?

    They like what we do pluse some other things we dont

  • Castings are only as good as the food source, we feed a 55 gallon drum of worms corn meal and alfalfa as a food source so you can imagine the quality of the castings that we harvested. The plant can absorb the nutrients of castings right away with out waiting for microbes to breakdown the organics such in the case of compost.

    Great looking setup by the way...healthy
