13:02 was a terrible play. The only people who were taking alot of damage was Leona (the tank). Poppy had already ulti'd, meaning he was only taking damage from Lee Sin. Your barrel pushed Lee Sin away forcing poppy to flash to finish up.

@fifrein He could have body slammed in and pushed ezreal and heimer into the fed tanky team and could have possibly aced without poppy having to waste flash. It not like they had any glass cannons on their team. The only champions mildly squishy were gragas and nocturne. On top of that, he pushed everyone out of Leona's ultimate, which would have stunned heimerdinger allowing Garen to come in and melt a hard CC'd heimer.

Then I try it on a whole wave and get enough shield to not even take half of an auto attack. I don't understand it. Do runes really make THAT much of a difference?

To answer your question...yes. Runes make very big difference in the game.

If you plan to buy them, buy Magic penetration on marks, Ability Power on glyphs, Health on Seals and more AP runes on Quitesence. But if you want to get max shields try to concetrate on many minions as you can. But don't overuse it in early game. Because you lose a lot of health.

Looks like they nerfed the shit out of Barrel roll's AOE radius because at 0:08 u see teemo far away from the barrel and still takes damage yet i played a match today with him and people have to pretty much be on top of your barrel for it to hit them. :(

I had a funny situation playing gragas, i tried to engage in a teamfight 3vs3, but basically came a little too late and only got one barrel off, before my 2 teammates got finished off (seriously damaging 2 of the enemies in the process though) So i was like uhoh, 1 vs 3, i run away, running south along the river. The enemy team decided to chase, one full health guy and 2 seriously hurt. They were all 3 right behind me, , so i toss a barrel and keep running: doublekill. Funniest lol moment ever!

Gragas is a f*ing beast! I think the reason so few people play as him is because he throws people off so much. You expect him to charge into the middle of a fight and lay down all hell while sucking up tons of damage, partially because of his health stats and partially because of body slam. But you have to play him very cautiously and often at a long range... plus you gotta master his awesome escape techniques. Nail that down and prepare to own the battlefield!

I love your concpet of how Gragas should be played. I played him once or twice as an AP offtank, much like Cho'gath. I quickly got bored of him. After trying this build and game stratagy I went 10/0/7 with a 25 minute surrender. Forgetting the K/D, the comical bursting down of certain champions from full to no hp in an instant was priceless.Thanks!
