Es ist doch klar das sich ein Diesel im Anzug stärker anfühlt, das liegt schlichtweg an dem hohen Drehmoment, den er schon bei ca. 2000 rpm bringt. Den Auris Benziner muss deutlich höher drehen dann zieht der auch sehr gut. Das ist einfach ein unfairer Vergleich nen Turbo mit nem Sauger zu vergleichen, was soll das? Warum nicht Diesel mit Diesel oder Benziner mit Benziner???

Apart from that i did not understand crap i have got to say that i like the Cee'd more. One reason. This company evolved from the ruins and it is now the 5th largest Automaker, under Hyundai's wing. It's 2 similar products, so it's just a matter of taste. The Auris has the awesome toyota reputation and reliability on it's side, the ceed on the other hand, offers more for less €€, 7 years of warranty, and, has I said before, I just love to drive it, while the Auris for me it's just a regular car you know? :) It's a great product and everyone should acknowlege it, even if they don't like it.

You are mostly wrong here... Toyota build the 5 dr in Britain (Derby) and the 3 door in Turkey for some markets. Have you seen or driven one of the new ones? I can tell you I went out in the new SR180 today (hence looking on here) and it's awesome! I mean awesome! 400Nm torque, lowered suspension, more torque than an M3 BMW and it's a 2.2 Diesel! VW Golf is not a good car, here in The Netherlands there are a lot of Golf's.

VW has a name it builds well built cars. But in the other hand you see a lot of VW's with broken lights, windows that fall into doors, electronica problems, broken FSI engines after only 20.000 kms for example, etc.

I've experienced the Cee'd several times, at normal highway speed there's a lot of noise, much 'air' noise, the dashboard is made with cheap plastic it makes noise too, the seats are uncomfortable, the suspension isn't just as good as from the Auris, etc.

Quality is something for the longterm; I know people who have a Sorento wich water is leaking trough the roof(in a 1 year old car!!!)

Kia engines wich are broken within a year isn't unique too!!
