  • RON PAUL 2012

  • Yeah Jim - he's not a fool.....

  • The problem is NOT that Greenspan didn't let the system fail, it's that he and other regulators turned a blind eye to questionable activities. Second, Greenspan's job was to keep the economy afloat, not let it tank into a depression.

  • Mary you are a little bit blonde..... but never mind! :)

  • An additional failure is that after 2 1/2 years, there remains barely 28,000 plus views of this.. is it any wonder Americans don't understand what's going on.

  • @Rosakru

i was thinking the same thing.I guess this is how countries work ,words mean more than reality.

  • wonderful!

  • This interviewer is a real journalist. It's been a while since I've seen one. Her questions are great!

  • ALL THESE FUCK HEADS THAT HAVE STOLEN OUR MONEY AND COUNTRY..

AND THE POLITICIANS THAT HAVE ALLOWED THIS TO HAPPEN...WE ARE SUPPOSE TO HAVE A REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC..HENCE OUR POLITICIANS LOOK OUT FOR OUR INTEREST...THEY TO NEED TO BE JAILED..

  • @TOUGHCHOICE United slaves.us

  • HE (Mr. "Fuck-head" Greenspan) knew exactly what he was doing! HE & the bankers on Wall St. are criminals, period!

  • I liked Alan Greenspan's paper, "Gold and Economic Freedom."

  • Americans should just use common sense. you don't need to go to Harvard to know that it's wrong to bailout failed risk takers with prudent peoples money. there is just no need to "understand" what simply takes common sense to know.

  • speaking of "the regulators", watch The Warning on PBS. see what happens to people like Brooksley Born when they try to do their job. this is criminal and all of them, Greenspan, Sommers, Geithner, Rubin, Paulson, Bernanke, et al, are CRIMINALS. period.

  • But many of thouse incompetent guys went to university. Didn't they learn? Or are they being just fools?

  • and it has a GDP debt, it can only lead to mass starvation. Because you cant solve it for budget loss, and its already diving from a preprogrammed cliff.

Somehow 100million american people, that are typically uncapable of surviving without modern facilities or are dependand should somehow survive a economic default. I dont think so.

  • In history, a default wouldnt be as severe as we expect to come. When you had a default in a medieval country. Leades would just use slaves to build the economy to stability. Also they had about 1billion people during the medieval ages. THats world population.

Now we have more then 7billion people, these people are alive, because modern industries support their basic needs to survive. The reason the world population skyrocketed, is because of modern industries.

    If a modern economy defaults.

  • I don't wanna see this bitch again

  • Uppity Old Money cracker worried about having to actually work for a living.

  • @bradchesney11 No. He worries for his country's demise, jackass. Why would he need to work? He's a billionaire.

  • @bradchesney11 You sound stupid because you use Ghetto English.

  • America WAS what other countries use to look UP to.....but I'm sorry guys, not any more...time is changing...its CHINA which is the emerging superpower.....and you know who is responsible....YOUR GOVERNMENT.They don't want you to get a ''GOOD''..education because the more educated you become the more questions you will raise on you present completely fucked up 'MONETARY SYSTEM'.They want you to be more involved in KESHA AND BIEBER AND XBOX so your mind is blocked to think.....THINK AMERICA !!!

  • its not hard for Americans to understand. greenspan et al. are idiots with connections. it's just hard for average American them to face the truth that they've been hoodwinked and led around like zombies most of their lives.

  • the two people who disliked this was geitner and paulson

  • that blond lady is so hot , she can make economy works

  • @MarruecosMan Too bad she's an idiot!

  • @aztecking21122012 I don't see anything "hot" about this annoying bitch.

  • All academics should be executed.

  • Jim is the men

  • @Igor707 That would be true if it was a democracy 2/3 against the countries direction under both Obama and Bush, what are the chances?

  • @collapseofthedollar You going to say where you got that quote? Or are you quoting yourself?

  • High school education doesn't matter much. We're still doing pretty well with college education.

  • @baigandine No your not and it is a direct result of comments like yours, which display amazing ignorance. Admit it, America is stupid!

  • Dear Americans, please do some research on `Paul Keeting, the recession we had to have`. If you overspend, you will go broke. The only way for America not to go broke is for the US government to annually achieve a surplus on expenditure. You need to elect Ron Paul in 2012. Then in 2020 elect another person with his views. You may be able to save yourself as Obama is now selling America to china on the cheap.

  • Only the american people can respond by throwing the idiots out of Office and by electing those that understand fundamental economy of production.

  • How about getting government out of the business of "doing stuff?" The accountability will take care of itself.

  • i guess Jim Rogers reading diff kind of sacred scroll is to reach the ultimate truth of human life, they way of life..

buddha is not 100% correct, neither islam, christian or any other religion, each religion got pro and cons, he's smart obtained knowledge both from west and east, it's called yin yang lol ..

    peace out from HK ..

  • I could listen to this man and Peter Schiff all day. All they are saying is common sense, but it only proves that common sense isn't all that common. Stupidity and corruption are unfortunately.

  • jim rogers for president get rid of the real clown obama

  • @china1324

    president of singapore :)

  • If you just ignore people that dont think the same way as you, your living in a bubble and not the reality.

  • Why isn't he my dad? i mean, he's starting to make sense! I worship this guy from now on.

  • Jim Roger you are a smart and seem to be a kind and a humble man, I advice you to read about Islam, and the Quran, so you can learn the whole truth and prepare yourself to the Hereafter as you always good in preparing yourself in this life.

  • Yes, Jim Rogers, go read about Mohammed marrying a six-year-old. I think you can't go wrong with a religion founded by such an obvious pedophile con-artist.

  • That's all you guys know about Islam. Well I advice you to read the Quran, the true word from God, better than reading books about Islam from its enemies.

  • Are you serious? You're proselytizing to a Youtube video?

I can see why the Christians control more idiots than the Muslims.

Do you try to convert plants and rocks, as well? They probably listen just as well as Jim Rogers listens to this third party posted Youtube channel's comments.

  • The rules never change personal atack to discredit the truth. God Bless you Jim. My Gold and silver and Plat are doing great.

  • Wouldn't it be fun to watch the world's international bankers gather for an honest game of Monopoly?

  • NEUROTIC !? Do you even KNOW the definition of this word. He is born poor, rises to the top based on his own talent and says things you dont like so you call him neurotic. I am a medical professional and in my job I talk to neurotic and otherwise maladjusted people on a daily basis. There is absolutely NOTHING in this interview to cause a rational person to call him neurotic.

  • Amen thruid3

  • thruid 3... i take my hat off to you.. i see a wise man in jim rogers. he made his wealth from hard work and not from stealing from the american worker

  • lol, he is neurotic for sure, but sounds like a good sound person.

  • Thanks for posting.

  • I like him a lot, and I don't think we should underestimate the significance of a man like him literally leaving the country.

He just KNOWS in his bones that the shit is REAILLY going to hit the fan, and very close to home, ie; NYC:

So, what does one do, if they can?

    Well, leave home.

  • jim is 10 times smarter than greenspan!!!!

  • no. greenspan is 10 times more criminal than rogers

  • i hope everyone has a GREAT DEPRESSION!

  • its the greatest depression dude, haven't you heard celante?

  • This is also a failure of common American citizens who allowed all this to happen by being passive and inactive.

  • Their indoctrination, their 'education' in passivity and ignorance is the fault of their fathers though --a fundamental social fault and schism in American society. This will be difficult to overcome.

  • @Igor707 agreed

  • @Igor707 Oh exactly dude, its my fault, because the politicians are just elected citizens, that means the citizenry is fundamentally corrupt, I'm guessing due to poverty and lack of education.

  • @Igor707 Yup! The vigilance had turned and remained with entertainment. "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance" - Thomas Jefferson

  • @Igor707 I dont think so man. The system has lied to us from birth. We are not passive and inactive, we are brainwashed and lied to, convinced that the government is helping us, while simultaneously distracted by mass media.

  • @hugegiantfrogs You are 100% correct! Now, if only 200 million or more of the brainwashed, indoctrinated from birth sheeple knew this, then what's going on in Egypt and other countries could go on here! Throw the bums out and return OUR republic to the most envied in all the world!

  • @hugegiantfrogs The system has lied to us from birth.. You don't know how right you are. From the moment a persons business identity is created to do business in the business world..(IE SS#) the laws that govern that person are as separate as the military from civilian life..look into the Commercial Code..which is the code entwining Maritime Law (being international) and military and civilian as well; it makes no difference..it is the law of the business world of which we are a literal product.

  • I disagree with Jim Rogers that people like A. Greenspan "didn't have a clue about what they were doing". Especially considering that many people were warning about the problems years ago. I believe this is an ENGINEERED attempt of the biggest Jewish bankers (Greenspan is a Jew) and oligarchs to first transfer all the assets to Asia and afterward to dismantle the USA. Come on, no one can be so dumb to destroy the entire system for years while many others were screaming and alarming.

  • i wish Jim Rogers was my dad.... so we could go on riverboat gambling trips.

  • if he was your dad you'd be learning mandarin...so be careful what you wish for

not saying that mandarin is bad i am just saying that its a pain in the ass to learn if its not your native tongue...i tried

  • What Is the percentage of foreclosures in bad loans comparing the amount of the entire economy? It was the investment bankers who saw this opportunity to get out and left the mess to us. Who'll do this investigations when they tied those guys with the benefit of the current bail-out regime? The unemployed should understand that they planned this trap long time ago. Otherwise, our soldiers retreated already for lacking fund. We're starving. I'd like to know: Who kept the money really?

  • Where I disagree with people like Jim Rodgers and Peter Schiff is in their opinion that all of these guys like Greenspan, Bernanke and Paulson are incompetent and don't understand what they are doing. Don't be fooled. They know exactly what they are doing. None of it is due to ignorance or incompetence. This is exactly the outcome that they planned. None of them are stupid. Most of them are geniuses. Wealth is never destroyed, it's mearly transferred. Remember that.

  • You may be right. I'm not sure. Either way it's a disgrace.

  • I noticed Peter Schiff isn't very informed on the politics around all this, these guys are financial geniuses but sadly they think the government is what 'they' say it is just that right now we have morons running it. In actuality we have a dirty government being run by people who EXACTLY what they are doing.

  • Weasels and Foxes. Greenspan, Bernanke and Paulson are manipulators.

  • Watthiman; Agreed. These peoples' actions only make sense when you assess them as knowing EXACTLY what they are doing, and achieving exactly the results they want! If they were merely incompetent they wouldn't be so dangerous to our country. If they were merely incompetent, the law of averages would mean they would make the RIGHT guesses at least SOME of the time! To underestimate them as blundering fools is to underestimate what they have done to destroy our free country.

  • Wealth is never destroyed??? What are you talking about???

Capital is wealth. Take a factory for example. What is a missile falls in a factory? Has wealth been destroyed???

We are living in a time of massive wealth destruction in the west and massive wealth creation in the East. So Jim and Peter are right.

  • That's not what Jim and Peter are saying. The "wealth destruction" you reference is in large part credit based. That's not wealth. The real wealth is not being destroyed ( Where would it go? the moon?) it's being transferred to the banks and Government. It hasn't disappeared.

  • It is true that "real" wealth can't be destroyed, if you are talking about our productive capacity, know-how, or things like that.

But that's not what most people mean when they use the word. When stock market lost 30-40% of the value, the "wealth" simply evaporated. The "wealth" did not get transfered to the bank nor the government. Period.

  • I'm not talking about potential wealth.. If you loose money in stocks, Someone somewhere now has those assets and has benefited from the decline in price. If you loose your house, it does not evaporate. Someone else takes ownership.

Circuit city's demise benefits the liquidation companies that buy their inventory. Someone loses, someone gains. Someone always benefits at the expense of those who lose. Wealth is transfered. Inflated housing and stock prices is not wealth.

  • Whether they are incompetent or purposely malevolent really doesn't matter. Either way they've got to go and we've got to make them.

  • Oh, and by the way folks.

When he says that "they have been wrong", that is just the political way of saying; "they have been lying to your face". - Keep that in mind.

  • @MatteNoob So sad and so true!

  • Thank you for this series. Very good and interesting.

I like Jim Roger's take on the economy, because I know he is fact based. His success is his testimony.

  • "His success is his testimony. "

Don't confuse luck with skill. He happened to be with Soros when he was exploiting inefficiencies in currency markets. Soros made the calls, not Rogers.

Don't be taken in by financial "celebrity". There are much better thinkers than Rogers.

  • Hello.

Thank you for pointing that out to me, I didn't know that.

I'm having trouble deciding who is financial celebrity or not. It seems like you can't trust anybody anymore. Look at Max Keiser and his BBC show... What is up with that?

I also listen to Peter Schiff, do you know anyone else I should check out?

  • Nouriel Roubini, Nicholas Taleb, Congressman Ron Paul, Gerald Celente--They all have echoed the same thoughts, it is going to get worse unless new industries are created (e.g. internet in the 1990s) to actually get people working. They argue printing money and throwing money at people won't fix the problems.
