When i confronted Jezebel i really wanted to be rid of her, i gave everything to the Lord at once and repented of it all... But i can witness i struggle with Delilah because she acts sweet, kind and caressing, God has revealed all her lies about how shes trying to destroy me and i noticed a change, im drawn to being the old man again, violence, lust and things of the world.. She dont lead me to God, i told her its better if we quit this relation once and for all, and my flesh screams for her :(

@Rangel316 - I know it's a fight to make the flesh submit, but I can tell you from personal experience that giving it to God and getting the victory over it is totally worth it! The Lord can take it from you, but you have to want Him to - that's the hardest part. We want what we find pleasurable, but Satan makes us his slaves if we give in to sin. Watch for 3 big demons: Jezebel, Delilah, & Athaliah. Jezebel is a manipulator, Athaliah is a control freak, & Delilah is basically a giant tick that feeds on an anointed person until they fall. Delilah had no interest in controlling the kingdom; her focus was entirely on bringing Samson down. Once he fell SHE DISAPPEARED.

I've laid with Dalilah all too many times in my life. Hind sight is 20/20 and hurts to see how much I've hurt God's heart in my own sin and destruction. I too, feel God's jealousy and heartache when I fall back into my sins/temptations. I've been single for a while now, but this spirit can also be viewed as any temptation that pulls us away from the Father. Thanks so much for sharing this. I cried, feeling the truth of these words. yes i have come accross this spirit and it is devisive of relationships and almost like a siren the men are called to her and lose their minds to her charms. Very real experience this girl was out of control and was looking for sex all the time, and any relationship that she came across she tried to destroy and if she was unable to, she would self harm

I wonder if what they label, "malignant narcissists" are actually Delilah spirits!? They use you when they need you (narcissistic fill) and then when you no longer are a"fill" to them...they drop you or deceive you! Or they stay with you and use you when they need you. They are incapable of love.

I just finished reading this story a few nights ago and am continually amazed at what the Spirit continues to reveal to me as I continue to seek him.

What has been over looked in this story is that Delilah was not a Philistine but an Israelitess or else they would not have bribed her with 55.000 pieces of silver.

The valley of Sorek ran through Judah. thus it is a warning to beware of those to claim to know God.
