Another time I was working at an US military base in an office without windows. During the lunch break I used to take a nap. One of those days I woke up and saw a muscular nordic male like from the middle ages looking at me with his arms crossed. He was staring at me and slowly disappeared after like a minute. I strongly believe he was my guardian angel, because I felt great comfort and no fear.

I saw my ex-wife's angels in the middle of the night sitting at the foot of her bed. It was a girl like half hispanic in a red short and a white polo shirt. She appeared for almost a minute when I woke up and at the moment I saw her, I double checked if it could have been a cross-over appearance of a dream. So I check my surroundings, like the curtains, the mirror and other features in the room and when I turned to her, she was still there. After that she slowly disappeared. I wasn't scared...

From the moment we are born god gives us one of his angels to guard us and the angel is the one who informs god about everything we do. Also the moment we are baptised god gives authority to the saint that our name comes from, like Saint Paul, if our name is Paul, to protect us.

I do believe in angels but i'm not a Christian i don't believe that they look like humans with wings. I think that they are higher beings and when they show themselves to a human ( if they even do, i don't know i've never seen one) they take on human vorm. I often feel the presence of something with me, something that calms me down, especially when i'm crying, it feels like there's someone holding me.

I believe in guardian angels. I believe when you are born, you are chosen as somone in heaven's ''person'' I guess. They are always there. Even if you can't see them, hear them, or feel them. They are always by your side.Your guardian angel is someone who may have been related to you, a friend, or complete stranger. I feel that when there is nobody there to talk too, you talk to God and your angel. You were chosen for your angel because you were ment to be best friends. At Least, What I think :)

I believe that there is a lot in this world that cannot be explained but they all give us a feeling a joy, love, compassion ,and understanding of our lives... which to me is our angels. I was once watching a TV show about how in a little town, a group of little children on a school bus were killed by a train because their bus broke down on the tracks. Today anybody who stops by those same tracks are magically pushed across the tracks and if u put flour on your car u can see little hand prints.

I have always seen my angels. I could see them, hear them and feel their energy. It started at the age of 6. I have not had a visit in about 3 years. I have also had 2 near death experiences. One when I was 2 (do not remember) and 1 when I was 17 (vividly remember). I think that is why I could see them.

I have seen my angels many times and talked to them. The first time I saw one was when I was 6. They would warn me about things that were going to happen and I could feel great love and compassion from them. Actually I would get an energy boost from them. I am not sure if it was always the same one that visited me. I could see them as clearly as I see normal people.

Angels are everywhere! They help to answer prayers or sometimes do work so that I can understand something better. Like the google translator, fixing the English translation of Portuguese when I do not speak or read the language (although can recognize some of the words now). There were articles in Portuguese, all jumbled up and an advert that, in translation, was jumbled up and I wanted to understand the words because what you say is very important. So I just pray first. I did the Camino in 2004, i meet so many earth angles along the route, and before i kept seeing signs, i.e. the name st james, etc., since then that journey has helped and prepared me for the painful marriage breakup I had in 06. I felt I had the courage to do the camino on my own I had the courage and support from God and the angels. I didn't know where posting my comment:facebook or the other forum website. I want to share that I always keep a good relationship with my Angels. I always talk to them before going to and getting out of bed, when I am going to make a decision. I've been through strong meetings with them that's why I believe in them, they are the only company I have. I smell them, feel them even when they touch my skin, hear them and of course listen to them, I've seen them just a few times

I thank my angel for saving me numerous times.

Once I was driving home at night, ten minutes before my car accident I went in auto mode and started praying. Shortly after, I was making a lane change and crashed into another car. It spun around and I was screaming. Then I felt two conforming arms grabbing the wheel and turned it perfectly to the side of the freeway. I was not in shock because of the accident but of the experience. GodBless Angels.

i have lived expiriences where i have felt an angel, sometimes they're in the spirit of the persons.. One expirience i was walking in a street so alone at the night, i was looking for a card for my cellphone, then two men began to pursue me and i was very nervous, i had so fear... i thought and repeated "God Help me!" many times, and appeared an angel saying "Cards for cellphones!" wow i could feel my breath again!! and the accompanied me till my house and the two men left! Once in Dec 2000 I had suffered a stroke. I recovered. I day on the way to work I was reading the a paper and saw a new book titled Angel inspiration. I brought the book and tried the mediations and low and behold my angel came to me, in the most amazing way. Anyway the message ultimately was you're ok now. It was the most uplifting experience I'd ever had. I would tell me more but running out of space. I am now the happiest person in the world to know my angels are always with me...

My first experience that I can remember with my Angel was when I was in the hospital with leukemia. Being a very logical minded person, never believing in "God", and clinging to science as though it were my religion (Not realizing that they actually go hand in hand), it was definitely a mind blowing experience that when I felt that presence, I just knew and accepted. hi paulo,i was brought up knwin that angels and demons r a fact in this world,as my mom and grandmom used to c them,but i dont c them i can only feel the presence.

Hi Paulo, I believe in Angels guarding us every moment but their presence is not noticed at least by the majority of people. I don't know what you mean by "experience" but two months ago while I was in the operating theatre ready to deliver my baby daughter I closed my eyes and I "saw" Archangel Gabriel. I was praying to deliver well and my baby to be healthy because I was so scared and thankfully he listened to my prayers and helped us both.

I believe very much in the Angels and I have great faith in mine, once I intoxique with gas when I was bathing, I lost consciousness and took me to hospital emergency level of carbon dioxide carried in the body was very high and sequelae that could be, but everything went well, I recovered very quickly and I have no kind of an aftermath. As a practising Christian, i believe in the Holy Spirit and his work in my life. I also believe in the existing of the angels. But to be honest i never experienced personally their interfering so obsiousely in my life. However, I believe that sometimes in some difficult situations, people come from nowhere to give me a hand or some kind of comfort unexpectadely and exactly when needed. My angels sometimes work through other people, even strangers. In April, a man standing in front of me appearing to look for someone, turned around and 'found me' at a function. I can tell by certain words and the sparkling eyes. He told me a specific story twice, mentioned the name 'Duke', then said 'You'll know I'm having fun when you see me dance'!! And I waited all night, enchanted, then he went to dance. Thank You Paulo!! : )

I live in Ireland & recently went to the Hill of Tara in Meath for the SummerSolstice celebration. It was a beautiful Solstice eve day & my family & I lay on the grass to both bask in the sun & to feel the connection between our ancestors & the present. Also I've started to believe that people are sometimes MEANT to meet, so that both ppl can benefit from others. I definitely believe in angels.there must be something that is protecting us. When I was pregnant I believed that my late grandmother was my guarding angel. I saw her once standing by my bed and somehow I felt that she was there to protect my unborn baby. I believe, in angels. My son, when he died, came to me often in the first weeks... one time he had me come with him... he showed me where he was going, and said, "look, I am going further than the angels." After my father died I realized that I want to explore the world of "angels" ... like never before ..because i cannot accept that his death and the fact that I do not know which placed my father reached now....the place of angels? or the place of emptiness ???

I will hold on to the thought of having his as a protective angel.. and I just have to wait and so what happens.... so in a year or two ..or perhaps in 10 ... I will have a more precise and firm answer to your question...

Still I catch myself on desperately looking for some signs, for some visible evidence .. e.g last time I took a picture of my father's grave I strongly believed the unusual white circle shaped reflection on the image was one of these signs....

While I agree to an extent your saying, it seems to over generalize and sound firm, stating it as a fact, while others are believing, keep in mind this is your belief, don't run the risk of becoming just like the people you are debating with.

I was against it for a few reasons. #1 I couldn't see it or feel it (at least in a way I thought I was supposed to feel it) #2 The thought of an entity (God or an Angel) guiding me meant I had no control over my life - or at least I thought - which is a scary thought definitely. #3 In any interaction with anyone believing in a god, they seemed brainwashed to me.

I'm not so sure about angels. How can we distinguish what is done by angel or what is done by God? For example as Paulo says, angels use other people to talk, how do we know this is an angel and not God influencing their speaking?
