@TheDEATHofRAP666 I agree that people who use that word too much are total morons and I too only use it in rare situations. But when I do, it has nothing to do with drastic changes in sound. That's when I hate people using that word. Artists should be allowed to explore what ever genres/soundscapes they like. I only use it when the music is truly motivated by money rather than intrinsic desire to create it.

But on the subject of your example all I have to say that styles and subject matter are two completely different things. Every artist has their own style and perception. Every person is entitled to their own opinion and preference. I just have a more tolerant view when it comes to music I chose to respect an artist but that doesn't mean that I like them.
