    I don't lift weights so much, but I do chin-ups/pull-ups, kettlebells and martial arts.

  • I'm sure it'll come to you if you keep working at it. It took me about five months, I think, to be able to do just one regular chin-up when I first started working out.

  • Thanks, yeah, I love working out! And chins is probably one of my favorite exercises besides the three "big ones" (squat, benchpress, deadlift). Hope you get going to the gym. :-)

  • Looking good! Power and endurance are very sexy in a woman, especially a beautiful one. How long could you hold a halfway up chinup? Or hang and hold your legs out horizontal for time?

  • Yeah, next after the deadlift, pull-ups are probably my favorite. I clearly remember when I couldn't even do one single chin-up and how hard it was to progress in the exercise. So I guess that's why it feels so amazing to be able to do it for reps and sets now. I looked at your videos too. I especially liked the one with towel pull-ups with two towels - I'll have to try that sometime.

  • Thank you very much. Well, I definitely cannot do 100 push-ups in a row! I could probably do 30-40 at the most. But since I train for max strength in the powerlifts, I very rarely do that many reps. Don't think I'll train towards 100 reps, but doing one-armed push-ups could be cool, so I think I'll work on that a bit.

  • Thanks! Well, the weighted chin-ups were just 4 sets of 6 reps with 5 kg in a belt. So not so heavy, but the heaviest I've done for sets. Don't have a clip of my weighted chin-ups yet, but sure, I can post one sometime.

    I ve rerecently started doing L pullups. Have you tried them? They really hit the mark.

  • No, I've never tried them. But maybe I will. Seems like they would require more core strength?

  • Works the core, seems to really hit arms and shoulders too. I m trying to work towards an L rope climb.

    Spent a few weeks just hanging from bar holding my legs straight out (for a few seconds at a time), then was suddenly able to do the pullups.

  • My biceps are not very big (as the end of this video may indicate), so I don't know if it'll make much of a video. But yeah, maybe I'll make a posing/flexing video later in the summer, when my body has gotten some color.
