or ... you could just the video in flip share then click start then click(what ever you name is on windows) then click videos, flipshare data, videos then find the video you want to edit then drag it to movie maker...☺ thumbs up so everybody can see

Flip Video is MP4 format. and Windows Movie maker uses avi. MP3.

Use Sony Vegas. cause it works with MP4 and windows xp

Everytime I try to convert it with the realplayer it tells me that i cant convert it because i dont have the codec, it gives me two sites to get it but neither work, what do i do?

@BrightLights741 make sure that the screen light on your flipshare is on when you pick the video you want to convert. if the screen light goes out sometimes it wont work.try that

I have been using Flip and WMM for nearly one year - and as you can see I have a lot of films on you tube. I only found out today that they are not compatible.

So it seemed to work UNTIL I tried to convert my videos on realplayer (which I just recently downloaded). Now realplayer won't let me convert unless I "sign up" for a free trial on realplayer 'plus'. It opened two extra windows asking me this- one had a "no thanks" button, but the other will not let me proceed.

I have no intention of giving realplayer my credit card #, so is there a different software than realplayer (or a way to get around this)?

This worked for me, but the 1st 10 or 12 seconds of each video clip is audio only. Any thoughts? Running XP w/ Flip Mino HD.

Please anybody who is reading this, help me. I did everything he said to do, but when i am at the little box where theres the green start button at the problem i have a big problem. i press start to start converting and a box pops up telling me to convert to H.264. I have the option to download it or learn more. and i can not get rid of the box. EVERY time i press start it comes up and i cant convert them. i tried downloadin it but tht doesnt work either. plz anybody help me

After you save your video to your flipshare you have the option then to send the video to your computer and you can choose where to sent it on your computer.

Worked on this for several hours trying the various posted solutions out there including saving to online, installing codecs, renaming extensions, etc.

Yours is the only one that worked ... Flip Mino to Windows Movie Maker ... Windows XP.
