  • Heraldeena's comments are all based on incorrect assumptions. Seems Heraldeen has not listened to, or doesn't understand what is being said in this video.

  • For a little lesson in sophism, read the comments below. Everything LaRouche argues is well argued. Check it out softly he says how he of course agrees with Mr. LaRouche, then proceeds to call him messianic. I have know Mr. LaRouche for many years He's not messianic. He is a great teacher and leader.

  • Reply to LaRouchisright: I'm not "he" and I don't label Mr LaRouche himself "messianic". I simply don't support the 'messianic' role the U.S. is supposed to play in re-organizing the world's financial system. Apart from that, you did not address any of the issues raised by me.

Let me repeat, however: the U.S. has no moral authority for having a leading role in this process. And it would be higly immoral for her to issue more credit out of thin air to 'save' the world.

  • Ok well, excuse me maam. But in fact, only the United Stataes is sufficiently sovereign, to take on the power the oligarchy weilds. Your understanding of the solution Mr. LaRouche represents is mistaken. An easy way to know what that mistaken perseption is I suggest listening to the latest weekly update by John Hoefle and Jeff Steinberg at LaRouchePAC.comm

  • Yes, maam, you are right in that the United States is sufficiently sovereign to print money into oblivion, thus penelizing everyone in the world who holds American dollars. "Bankruptcy re-organization" would actually mean writing off the debt the US owes to the rest of the world. And the issuance of credit to save the American economy would further devaluate the holders of the American dollars thoughout the world. Mr Larouch never addresses these issues.

  • Part 3: ... or create even more money out of thin air. The U.S. should be let to suffer the consequences of parasitic economic exploitation of a large part of the world's population. First pay off your debt to China, Japan and other countries, and then start thinking of saving the world! The U.S. is a doctor that needs first to cure himself... but not at the expense of other nations. I also share most of LaRouche's views but the messianic pose is pathetic. (Sorry for any mistakes in my English).

  • Part 2: You also forgot that your Constitution allows for the generation of credit backed by gold and silver and not by thin air or the printing press. The U.S. dollar is not supposed to "be backed by a commitment of production and industrial development" but by some tangible value, not empty words. You cannot commit yourselves to produce having shattered industrial infrastructure at your disposal, and in order to get it back in place you would either need to receive further loans from abroad...

  • You seem to be saying that the U.S. have some messianic authority to save the world. You are focussing on the U.S. legal authority to do that while forgetting that the U.S. HAVE NO MORAL AUTHORITY to run the bankruptcy re-organisation of the world while they are broke themselves (with their debt figure running up to 55 trillion dollars). It would be an outrage if the U.S. dollar remained the world currency in these circumstances.
