  • I always enjoyed watching Pip fly over my house going to Tyabb on occasional weekends. I enjoyed watching him at Avalon and Tyabb airshows. A true legend.

  • I have always admired his flying ability since I was a child. I would watch pip every time I heard the roar in the skys of the pitts special, then edge 540, then the almighty Sampson. I watched Samsons very first flight, and I also witnessed the final tragic flight.

    I saw pip taxying in Sampson and as usual I pulled into the airport to watch pip. I watched it from take off to the end. My heart is devastatedGood Bye RIP PIP you will always be in our hearts

  • Pip,Rest In Peace.Pip was a Gentleman in every sense of the word,an accomplished aerobatic pilot with qualities rarely seen,he brought REAL Aerobatics to Australian skies when he purchased the Edge in the late 90's,and the Samson was the next step in developing a new & unique display for the ever appreciating public audiences he continued to impress with his flying excellence.Pip,you cannot be replaced.you were unique! R.I.P mate.

  • I was privelidged to know Pip, and am a pilot at Shepparton who was lucky to watch him work his magic in the sky over the past few years, and last week in the new Samson. If anyone wants me to pull this vid off the air, let me know please.

  • @Cally460 i think this should stay up for sure. ive known him a long time and my dad was a lifelong friend also built the engines that got him to the top over all these years. im sure the he would like to be remembered doing what he loved and what he was best at.
