the pronunciation is similar, but i wouldn't spell grammar with an "er" if i could help it. it just looks weird, almost as if the "grammer" were something of a denotation of the gram: perhaps one that "grams" maybe smoke a gram of chronic or something that weighs a gram such as a gram of... i don't know, a diamond or something. anyways, grammer is a little inapropriate, i would advise against spelling it as "grammEr." so yea, i think it matters, at least a little.

Impossible is basically someones expression of incapability, who has influenced himself to accept either overwhelming odds or the full acceptance of its inability. ( probably in a result of lacking knowledge if its reffered to something scientific or historic)

i understand what you are saying, but it doesn't change the fact that this slogan is fundamentally challenged in it's reference to impossibility. if what you deem as impossible only exists as the consciousness of a lack of ability, then was you are refering to is nescience or misinterpretation or perhaps delusion. what you're saying is that, since people used to think it absurd if not impossible to be flying in a large metal vessel, then it was only impossible in their minds, exclusively.

I understand your thesis and its merits, but I would disagree. If you simply consider the tale of Schrödingers cat, one can see that a task can be deemed both impossible and possible until ventured. When considering this; take the media and critics as being the cat dying, the athlete as being the cat surviving and the vial of poison as the task that is to be undertaken. (cont. next)

although golf isnt as physical as other sports...tiger woods is apparently in excellent physical shape...he himself points out that part of the reason he is so dominant is that he gets to hole 18 and he is fine whereas other players are exhausted

That´s no arguement. The privileg to grow up rich and train your "sport" in clubs which are reserved for wealthy people to stay in their own circles is no reason to call yourself a sportsman.A plan of the IOC was to take olympicwrestling out of the program and put in golf..just f.e.
