I hate all the pegasus knights in FE6. In most Fire Emblem games I always have a Pegasus in the team (Marcia and Florina are the best) but I avoid them like the plague in this game, leave flying to the wyverns.

and thats why i mostly pick thany over tate i love the higher luck and speed growth over strength and defence because in my opinion even if the character cant do alot of damage to the enemy use luck and speed to evade all attacks and chip away at HP bit by bit while avoiding hits instead of getting hit

Although pegasus/falcon knights are very fragile due to health and armor, they are compensated with high speeds and thus able to dodge a lot of attacks as well as double striking.

I remember FE6 for enemies that could actually match up to player units (Dragon Lords w/t Silver Lances, and enemy Paladins were actually harder to kill than in FE 7/8). Even with AA, you don't get one-man armies like in FE 7/8; there's always a flaw in their stats somewhere. Makes for challenging gameplay.

And there's the RNG, prone to acts of immense screwage at the most critical and mentally-straining moments possible. Though the almost-idiotproof boss fight pays for that...

Best way to lvl up by arena abuse is to pay anything below 700$, paying 700$+ results in 50% of living, and the risk of evil RNG characters increases when you pay more.

Paying 900$+ is typically a death sentence most of the time when sending units with low luck/low speed.

Thany always ends up being superior for me. Tate is really a blah character and I don't like using her all that much. (Not when I have a massive Dieck with his huge blade. Got to love that.)

The problem with the pegasus knights in the arena are that they usually get weighed down by the iron lances. If you RNG abuse them (not that it's entirely needed) to get their first few levels with speed, then they should be able to handle it far better than this.

I use both. Ogier fits the Hero caps better than Dieck, but Dieck will always be good 100% of the time when you use him. Also, Dieck has such ridiculously high CON that he has no speed loss from a steel blade after promotion. That's 14 weight right there. Both Mercenaries are good, that can't be said about certain others that have weird growths. Bors' speed growth is higher than his defense, and he still manages to be slow for everybody.
