Never saw this special before. This was done back in 1992 at a concert in Six Flags. I don't see any info on touring "Gettin' Down in Your Town". One was in Rye Playland, or someplace else. If I'm a fan of the show and specials, this is where I got me hooked on. BTW, gotta love the fireworks in the intro.

I never really thought about it before, but the 1987 TMNT did a lot of weird stuff like this. You really saw less of the Mirage/2003 TMNT playing guitars and more of them stabbing a Foot Ninja in the stomach.

I feel just slightly better for watching this...mostly because I had gotten bored one day and watched the *shudders* Wiggles, because I was too lazy to change the channel. This is what kids should be watching. Less creepy to watch large mutant ninja turtles in concert singing for kids than several middle aged men.
