  • the 4th one looked like she was going to throw herself off over every fence but the first to looked really good :)

  • @luv4cascy first two...lol i can spell

  • zazou deserved the win :)

  • Personally I liked Morgan Hake best but they all deserve a prize for going through that stiruppless. Amazing riders.

  • Definitely the last one. Her leg position was the best. everyone elses toes were down.

  • what were the results? i no that zazou won and chase was second but wat about third and fourth? I think zazou was the best

  • what were the results? i no that zazou won and chase was second but wat about third and fourth?

  • which one was zazou?

  • @96horseluvr the last one

  • i would have placed

    1- rider 2

    2- rider 4

    3- rider3

    4- rider1

  • @CountTheStridesLUCKY i totes agree morgan hake should have win.

  • i personally think the girl who went 2nd shoulda won. idk if she did or not cuz idk whos who but i think she held her contact and body the best

  • @xoxPonyfeathersxox yea but she missed a change so that bumped her out :(

  • i think morgan had the best jumps but since she was late for the change....it kinda ruined things

  • do you know if they make everybody in the maclay finals do this? :) awesome!

  • @HunterEqLove no just the final 4!

  • I think Chase should have won. Of course they were all great but he got the best striding and kept a solid leg position. He also sat up very straight and put on a pretty picture.

  • now that takes skill!

  • i think im gonna need to start working out everyday! damn, these guys are super strong!!!

  • i think zazou is an amazing rider but i personally liked chase boggio's test the best. based on the test, i think he should have won. hes such a talented rider (hes only 15 and this was like the 3rd day he was riding that horse) and i think that he has an amazing riding career ahead of him

  • who are the riders and horses in order

  • OMG these girls have legs of steel

  • @dreamershavemorefun and boy.

  • she really improved!

  • holy....

i want legs as solid as that. that's insane.

  • thats really good

i could never do that :P

  • A-MAZING!

  • i personally dont like zazou hoffman. she seems to "override"

but all the horses and riders at this level are extremely talented

  • I very much agree

  • Zazou isn't as graceful as the typical equitation rider would be but she can make a decision and stick to it better than most of our presidents can! lol

  • hahah true statement. i would say she is a more effective rider than a graceful one. but she does have grace, but other riders here had more, but she was the most effective rider. i think thats what put her on top. she knew what she wanted, and was determined to get it. THAT is what makes a winning equitation rider :]

  • Her elbows just poke out cuz of the release she uses. Mine do that if I change my release sometimes 2.. But she has definitely always been determined. She even applied for the scholarship Im applying for (as a 15 yr old) when she was tiny! She looked 10-12 in her application video.

My trainer always sends me videos of her and tells me to watch 2 things.. her hands and how she sticks with every decision and u can tell she plans far out for her distance. I think she is a really interesting rider.

  • yeah it looks like she only won bcuz of her tighter turns

  • meh, I didn't like the first or the last rider. it seemed like they were trying to lift the horse off the ground when they jumped, and their elbows stuck out like ducks over the jumps.

I LOOOVED the second rider! I think she was the best! did she win?

  • @RRhapsodylover the last rider won, the second rider was 3rd I believe.

  • wow! the last rider won? well, I guess the judges liked her and found her the most talented. I personally liked the second rider the best.

    thanks :)

  • the second rider had a late lead change after jumper 2. :\ I think they're all very talented riders and it's not fair to criticize them.

  • of course they are all talented riders!

but yes, I think you're right it is not fair to critesize them, please excuse me for doing so.

  • it's ok, :] i know you didn't mean badly, but it's just they put so much work into it soo i was just sayin :]

  • which rider is this?? thanks! :)

  • this is amazing!!

  • Wow. These girls are amazing! how can they keep their leg so still and still get long distances?

  • @horsecrazy1045 believe me, for me anyways, it's LOTS of running, dead lifts, and practice.

  • Yeah! I can only do combinations and lines without stirrups! I can still do it, but my leg will be moving everywhere!

  • Congradulations

  • this is not rachael hake

  • no one said it was

  • yeah part of the test is to walk out with a loose rein

  • zazou won

  • yeah just sayin :-)

  • that might have been the test to drop the Reins its called free walk

  • yeah i agree with Mordyci

  • wait i agree too but who won???

  • Comment removed

  • I personally don't think Zazou had the best ride out of all of them. But congrats to her anyways!

  • yeah but if you look closely she and the 2nd place girl were the only ones that had their heels down.

  • your right.

  • i really don't think so either. 2nd place should've won.

  • but you have to remember that they don't just get judged on this round, Chase (2nd place) broke during the counter canter of the flat phase, so even though he may have had a stronger round here, overall he was still behind Zazou.

  • exactly. considering that he ends up second even with the break in the flat, he probably would have won if that hadnt happened

  • ohh that's true. you're quite right. i didn't see the flat phase, actually. is that available to watch on youtube?

  • @paintbynumber123 I don't think so, I was there so I saw it live.

  • well, he broke int he flat phase but it wasn't his fault thats why he was in second. its eq not hunters. :p

  • @stockergurl101 your reasoning really doesn't make sense. the whole point of the flat phase is to demonstrate your skill and control on the flat, and the horse breaking is clearly a rider error, hence why he went from first after the first round to somewhere around 10th (if I recall correctly). He finished second because of how strong his 2nd round and final four test were, moving him back up to the higher position. eq vs hunters has nothing to do with it, the break did count against him

  • not necessarily we dont know how long they were counter cantering and counter cantering is a more unsual gate for a horse (yes i know these horses have been trained to do it i have one of my own) but the horse does have a mind of its own. zazous rounds were all amazing why she got first. and chase well he did really good and all but his flat phase wasnt good cuz he broke to the trot. all im saying is that its not always the rides fault. and he would not have won JUST because of that.

  • okay I really don't understand what point you're trying to prove. He is an incredible rider (I don't think anybody can deny that). All of his over fences rounds were fantastically done, but there was really no way he could have beat zazou with the break in the flat. It is supposed to be 50% flat 50% o/f after all.

  • @ASBgurl834 me too i think chase did the best. oh well zazou still did good

  • @ASBgurl834 AMEN TO THAT

  • This makes me want to throw out my irons! lol
