I'm not complaining about the "explicit" nature of the content, I'm complaining about how that was thought as and treated like a cartoon for kids when it clearly wasn't. It's like the reverse idea; making a show claiming to be for adults that was full of bright colors, singing guys in costumes cheesy as Barney, and dealing with issues to develop the minds of children and such. Sure, adults can change the channel, but to make that idea aimed for them in the first place is stupid and insulting.

Sickopath333, you are clearly not an animator or designer, if you are, I'm very sorry for you. If you were you would praise any attempt of using the visual language of the cartoon, in mediums not generally targeted at children.

It is narrowminds like you that pushed the cartoon format down from being the number one approach in commercial advertising during the 1950s to the stock animation and recycled storylines, used as an excuse for americans to not have to raise their own kids.

To be honest I kind of get annoyed when cartoonists take a medium of a kid's show and put in their own messages and feelings to a degree where it isn't enjoyable to a kid, but would only be appreciated by adults. That's how I felt about the first one (sorry to those who liked it); it's something with a really deep, trippy message and kids miss out and have to endure it if they want to see the other shows. Nothing wrong with using cartoons, but not with this audience.

Exactly! But the whole problem is, it was on a channel and show that was totally aimed at kids. If they had made this and played it on their own channel or show for adults, I wouldn't have cared at all. It just ticks me off that because it's in cartoon format, though obviously not for kids, that they thought it would be acceptable to put it on a cartoon channel like that. I don't know many kids that would enjoy this 1st cartoon AT ALL so it ticks me off that they abused the medium like that.
