I never noticed that Seinfeld looks actually a tad lame on those old-fashioned promos where they try to show a complete exhange. The humor just isn't in stereotypical zing-pow punchline format. Promos in the later nineties, where they show tiny snippets of a joke, or the episode idea, make the show look much better.
Greatest comedy show ever, greatest show of all time is obviously based in New Jersey and not New York.
