How long is the rail system?

@NinjaPandaMk1 in total about 1 foot. top rail extends across top of upper receiver and offers 14" of rail space, all other rails on side and bottom give about 10"

I'm getting this challenger kit for my echo 1 m4 im upgrading, is the gearbox able to handle a lipo?

@xxamadeus84xx Im guessing its the G&P challenge kit? If it doesn't state that it can handle a lipo then it probably is not lipo ready. You don't really need a lipo (if you dont have one already) cause it is expensive. you figure out the battery, a lipo sack, and a good lipo charger which can run $80.

how did you take off the orange tip? and is it counter clockwise?

@kev50088 It is counter clockwise. it is really hard to take it off, though, because the outer barrel that it is screwed on will unscrew before the actual orange tip does, so you have to clamp the outer barrel in something and then unscrew the orange tip.

@jtagg16 is included? from what I heard is that they dont include the test 9.6v battery any more. It takes a 9.6v crane stock battery.

Can you send me a private video how to disassemble my SR 15 and how to clean out my gear box because my SR 15 is not shooting and I got fresh new batteries but still won't work at all. So, please help :]

@DKxGaMERDuDE My other video where I show the inner barrel swap shows how to disassemble the top rail from the base, but I would not know how to take the gearbox out from the body and take it apart. I'm not knowledgeble with gearboxes, so leading you the wrong way would be my fault. If I were you, I would troubleshoot your problems with google, and if you felt risking opening the gearbox, then you can look up disassembly videos. Or, you can always contact the retailer for repairs.

@RacecityAirsoft first, I would definately upgrade the hop up unit, along with good bucking and bucking nubs. If you are knowledgable with gearboxes, you can get a cylinder and piston upgrade kit, to ensure good air seal and a longer life to your gearbox. If you want accuracy instead, I suggest upgrading to a 6.03 mm barrel. Don't be too cheap when upgrading, cause it'll come back and bite you in the arse.

How decent are the internals on that? I'm expecting crappy compression and piston, maybe gears, but prove me wrong.

@G3TGh0sT, lol, I know. This is what you get from China grade stuff though. The King Arms version weighs 6.5 pounds, not including BBs. With a 300 rnd high cap of .25g, should weigh ~6.7lbs.

@ablahblah54 I haven't opened up the gearbox (yet) but what i'd expect is the same internals as a JG. I haven't really put it through many rounds or games so we'll have to see.

hey man i plan on buying this or the king arms full metal m4 but this is my wanted length of gun and has an ris and no stupid delta ring but i usually play a assault role but with a 9.6 what is the stock rof and what were and does this have a bolt cache thanks

@LT66100 I'm not sure of the ROF. the "experiment" battery they give you is a 9.6v, and the ROF is decent but its no real gatling gun either. For assault, the ROF should be fine. and it does have a functioning bolt catch.

@AdrianJarin97 Yes, it will take any old m4 magazines, but as for p-mags, I'm not sure. I have a short 50 rd. P-mag and it does not like to feed bb's well. I think some slight modification would be required.

@luke5589 Hmmm.... mm wise I'd say a bit longer than 180mm. If you can get a 180mm silencer, it'd bring a great look to the gun, and also, the capacity for a longer barrel. Thanks again.

@porkchopfatshack I wouldn't suggest buying this. I've been having so many hop up problems recently (ergo I had to buy a new one). I mean, I'm probably one of the ones that got the bad one out of the bunch, but theres plenty of other rifles out there that can perform at a much better level. Shop around for a few days, look at reviews, watch videos. Have fun.

if you are going for an assault rifle tactic do you think I should still get a barrel upgrade? Is this gun worth 200$?

@Everydaynormalguy24 Sorry about the wait. YT doesnt really show if i have comments. It's and alright gun for a DMR role (sniper/assault). I would suggest something like a G&G for $200, or A&K, but this gun is worth the money. If you have a bigger budget, I would suggest a new barrel and hop up unit. The stock hop up is made of cheap-ass pot metal

is it hard to take off the orange tip also what barrel do you have in it

@dextern1 uhh im not sure about the orange flash hider. im sure you can take it off, but the whole outer barrel its attached to comes off also. The current barrel i have in it is a 6.01mm x 370mm Matrix inner barrel. (found on evike.com for 30 bucks)

@soarhyorinmaru Sadly, no. The manual says it does, but I guess they never manufactured them with the box. You can buy mounts, theyre called sling swivel mounts. (although theyre $10-15 each swivel)

@splintercelldude57 R.o.f. is decent, it's really a field gun, and i like the rof because i dont waste a lot of ammo making pot shots. If you want more rof, it is easily upgradeable

@TheMrwarior im not sure about the orange flash hider. i think you can take it off with an adjustable wrench, but itll take some serious torque. there isnt another flash hider included but if you wanted to you could always spraypaint your flash hider flat black, but it would be permanent. If you were to buy one online you need a 14mm Counter Clockwise.

@TheDesertMilitia Yes. It is very good for assault because it has plenty of rail space, and can take a beating. If you are going for an assault role, be sure to get a good red dot (with a riser mount or high profile rings). The gun already comes with a 300rd. high cap but on evike's holy cow specials they have $5 for 2 magazines with a matrix purchase.

@LFtuzzo i made the silencer. scope is from cabelas (do not have the link). short magpul polymer 50 round mag can be bought on evike.com (look in the magazines section) The Bipod/foregrip can be found anywhere on the net or amazon.com. not sure what the brand is.

@GolfcartAirsoft It's a good gun. like I said you wanna upgrade for accuracy, like a new bucking and tighter barrel. evike has the Matrix AEG 6.01mm barrel for $30. just make sure you don't lose the bucking spacer when you replace the barrel.
