This is somewhat bogus! For me, doing Challenge day, I have every intention of following up with my new friends. It is about people helping people. People loving people. Better to take a risk, and find love, than to stay closed and be lonely. Don't you think???
It takes a village to raise a child, like it says we are our brothers keeper. I never once in high school or since felt like a counsellor would be any help to me, but my peers were the ones who helped. What this process does is make it apparent to the whole student body that they can care for each other
Okay, valid concern. There should be adequate follow-up to something like challenge day. But how about actively seeking ways to put resources in place to serve your students instead of throwing the whole idea out the window and not addressing students' problems at all.
you are not a group leader Mr. Donovan!! What would you have the children do?? Hide what has happened to them? Your lack of knowledge is showing again. Perhaps you have some issues that should see the light of day? You can not even run a proper board meeting that is professional and follows the rules of order!
