@zombievampire1 actually this song is about a wife who is writing to her husband because he pretty much dumped her and said they were broken and faling apart so he left and moved away, shes trying to tell him that she still loves him and "were not broken" and "please come home". not ttrying to be rude if it came out like that.

Yes, indeed they did write it about a soldier...just saw them in concert and he spoke of it. Was a brilliant show and beautiful dedication!

Such a beautiful song. They wrote this for a women that wrote to the band and told them that her husband has been hurt in the war and they were having a hard time ajusting back into life. It was sweet of the Goo Goo dolls to right ths.
