shoes arnt as important just make sure you've got good grip tape and that your bindings are tight on your feet. you shouldnt be able to slide them out very easily half the time if you goin to bail its better to just keep your feet in.
if you're gonna fall its way better to jump out easily rather than kepp rolling and getting messed up by being dragged along.. if you know a course well and your good then you can tie your feet in... otherwise your buggered
I dis agree and so does JDurbia :P You don't want your bindings to tight, you can jump the board with have bindings on, you just need them snugg on your feet..
Hmmmm, well, I'm not quite sure. What kind of shoes are you riding in? It's always best to get the shoes that have absolutely no slip from heel to toe and keep them decently tight. Good grip tape is a must. Also, what kind of terrain are you riding?
I would actually go with the Jeremy Leafe Pro board(Pro 12). It comes with Matrix Lite trucks, Ratchet bindings, Rockstar hubs, T1 tread and a prefect deck for all around riding! You can also upgrade to the Rockstar Pro hubs which are aluminum and also the Cam-lock binding ratches. That is my basic current setup.
what is a good website to buy a mountain board and should it be mbs or ground industries

That`s a cool sport, hate that type of indie punk music though.
Checkout my Bro using a dirtboard to wakeboard style behind a truck on a long beach in Malaysia.
Not very extreme but kinda original thing to do for 2002

Matrix are trucks and ratchet are bindings. Two totally different thing! So I'd say go with both.
