  • Good flying, great stable looking heli. Hope mine does the same when I'm done building it. And my wife will probably film me instead of the heli till she figures it out.....LOL-----AM I SUPPOSED TO GET YOU TOO?

  • Running a Futaba 8UHPS and 146iP Rx. HS65HB swash servos and at the time of first flight, a Telebee gyro with SG90 servo for the tail. Now have a 401/9650 combi, which is not a large improvement over an already effective tail.

  • Nice hover.

What electronics are you using with this kit?

  • i just got my exi-450 is it easy to fly

  • The only supplier I know of is in California, but I had it shipped to Canada with no probs.

Some of the parts are a little wimpy, but the structure is good and solid. I changed the head and tail over to legacy Align CNC since I had spares.

My only warning at all would be to bin the blades that come with it. Without any prior cracking or warning one split through the bolt hole. Luckily it happened lifting it out of my trunk, rather than airborne or with a crowd around.

  • Can these be bought in CDN? They as good as a T -Rex?

  • Yeah Gary, the EXI T-rex clone seems much better than the King 2. that is a very good and stable hover mate.

    Regs:Andy (martia on Heliguy) :)

  • Thanks. For a first flight the settings for both the mechanics and radio seemed to work out pretty close. Not like my King 2, which seems to be like an epileptic on Red Bull! What's really annoying is I've adapted the same 450 head to the King!

  • Nice hover, rock solid!
