  • Watch my video. Stunning, breathtaking, strong and deep images. Thanks!

  • I can't believe our tax dollars flew this guy to Copenhage just to fail a second time.

  • Is just my impression or he talks talks and just doesnt say anything.

Why expect others nations action, this talk about developing countries, developed countries, why he just doesnt make the first step?

Its just America policy, they just call everybody to assume their responsability and they just dont assume any.

  • Why are you so illiterate sounding? Learn to form a coherent sentence.

  • It's pretty hilarious when people say "omgz climaet ch4nj is a FROD"

  • Obama doesn't like talks by hypocrites, pretending to care about the climate but doing nothing. Obama likes action, thats what you hypocrites who want the president to lie to you so you can feel good about yourself cannot understand. He tells you the truth in your face.

  • Anyone who criticizes Obama on youtube are most likely to be those hypocrites! If you really think Obama is making a wrong decision take action and write a letter to the head of state. I love Obama, and I can only pay respect to how he is trying to change the World.

  • Obama works for the global elitist international bankers.

He's a fraud, He's Bush II, because they both serve the same masters. His job is to sell this hoax to the American people, in order to further rape us financially,

and to advance the police state control grid they are implementing as fast as they can. He's given trillions to the off shore bankers, he's increased the troop levels, he continues the policies of torture rendition wire tapping fear mongering and the phony war on terror AWAKEN

  • Your proof:

    ... ?

  • I can't do your research for you. Haven't you noticed he's broken all his campaign pledges? Did you notice the banker bailouts? Did you notice the increased troop levels? Expanded the Bush policies of torture rendition wire tapping? failed to close down Gitmo?

Have you noticed his speeches praising globalization, telling us we need a new world order? Did you notice he promised to NOT have an admin full of corporate lobbyists, but then he filled every post with former lobbyists? WAKE THE F UP

  • You take statements he make and give them your own understanding. I want proof, not interpretations as in "Obama said this, dont you understand he means this and this by that, omg are you brainwashed".

    No, I want proof.

    Proof:

    ...

  • Google the subjects I have mentioned. I voted for Obama, I despised Bush. They both work for the same bosses. I have listed facts for you. Obama is the chosen front man for a sinister hidden agenda to bring nazilike tyranny to the US. You had better learn about the FEMA camps, FEMA coffins, RFID chips, false flag terror (coming soon again to the US) martial law, the red, blue and yellow lists.

just start googling and you will see. Do this homework before commenting back.

  • he made a fool out of him self =shame

  • Slaves, you need to pay more taxes to further our global terror war.

    why? because you are scared.

let's see what we had this year:

1.Terror scares. (basic agenda, taking your rights)

2.Iran nuclear threat (how dare they sell non us$ denominated oil?)

3.Financial meltdown (successfully payed by hyperinflation)

4.Global warming (much better than global cooling, Armageddon 2012 is coming)

5.swine-flu pandemic scare meme (successfully usurped sovereignty by the World Health Organization)

    Ze NWO is..

  • @superdiza the gov put out aids and give you ghettos and taxs love'em sent oil up 100 buck they let the jews, blacks die, and rushing mexican over here a.s.a.p

  • CLIMATE CHANGE IS A HUGE FRAUD. This is the "problem"

that will allow the Globalist Elite to take control of the planet,

and every person on the planet. We have seen the hacked emails that proved that the UN scientists know that they are working to perpetuate a fraud. We all want to cut pollution, but this is not the way, but rather

a pretext to create their One world Government, with them as the ultra wealthy rulers, and everyone else as poverty stricken slaves. They want to kill 90% of us

  • Comment removed

  • Not me. I have grown beyond the theatre that is partisan politics. I'm talking about the global elite who really run things.

If you're going to insult me, let's hear a point. I just told you the pretext that will be used to take global control. Control of you.

You are going to be paying new taxes on meat, every mile you drive, every animal you own, every watt you use, every fart you make, all based on bogus science and photoshopped visual aides. You just wait and see if I was right. Big Brother

  • okay, I see you are not a sensless humang being as I tought you would be. However I cannot hide my opinion wich is that even thus taxes might be added (natural result) it is more important for the greater number. Also, since you are using facts, the climate change has been proven to be caused by our activity. This does not change the fact that as you say we all should pay the consequences, but those who are the most responsabile (USA) must.

  • Climate changes are cyclical and natural. "Climate Change" formally known as global warming, is intentionally fraudulent "science" and the cat is out of the bag on this one. They're cooking the numbers, Taking readings in a way to get the results they are paid to get, because there is a hidden agenda at play. Carbon Dioxide is natural

normal what plants breath. Of all the poisons in our food water air and medicines, the air we exhale is going to be the death of us all? Its getting colder now

  • Okay, even thus your vision of reality is a bit distorted I actually could agree with you on some points. But this problems are what you get out of a globalized system like Capitalism

  • Something might actually happen this time around. Lets pray its not blowing in the wind

  • For all you "Man Caused Golabal Warmers" riddle me this:

If global warming is man caused, why is Mars, Pluto, Jupiter, Triton also warming?

Does NASA have vast amounts of SUVs on mars we don't know about?

  • Seriously... ?

Planets have these things called "years" ... you know, where they go around the sun. And planets/moons (especially ones with more elliptical orbits) are warmer on average at certain times of their "year" than at others. Besides, this is irrelevant in the first place.

Do you know what the "carbon cycle" is? It's high school science. Carbon's involvement in the air, soil, life, and sea...? That's the basic science needed to comment in any informed way on the impact of emissions.

  • To believe your point, we would need t forget the fact that NASA has been tracking temps on other planets for years.

1970 to 1990 Mars temp increase .65c and the earth .6c

Carbon cycle correct, but the number of cells a plant has that converts CO2 into O2. Maybe that was left out of the science class.

In the 1970s and so, leftists were screaming Global cooling. Did they teach that in history class?

Science cannot prove global warming. Sorry

  • What does "the number of cells" have to do with anything...? Plants are just one step in the cycle.

Carbon is stored in the biomass of the plant (wood, carbohydrates), as a result of photosynthesis, which occurs in different relative ratios depending entirely on the type of plant. O2 is created as a result of photosynthesis, which is really an elaborate electron transport system for synthesizing ATP.

I don't follow you on that.

  • Obama is expressly speaking of man caused global warming due to the increased CO2 in the air. Al Whore speaks about that too.

Trying to keep the conversation on a lower level so the leftists can understand what is going on.

  • "Increased CO2 in the air" - - that's a very simple way to put it (and inaccurate). Scientifically, it's additional carbon in the carbon cycle. And much of it remains atmospheric because there isn't enough biomass on the land or in the sea to reabsorb it. Deforestation certainly doesn't help that.

  • There were 5 times as many scientists in the 1970's who thought we were in a much larger overall warming trend. You can't use the media of the time (much like today) as any barometer of scientific consensus or majority opinion. The media focused on controversial studies.

Oh jeez you said "leftists" ... I'm sorry. I'm not leftist. Not everything is political. If you can't tell the difference between science and politics, then I shouldn't waste my time here.

  • No, did not mean you were a leftist, but people who read our comments maybe. Sorry if you miss understood. It is nice to disagree with a person whoi can hold a conversation and their point without resorting to swear words.

  • They have 2 or 3 rovers, sadly they operate on electricity, so it is clear that 'green' tech is far more dangerous than fossilefuels.. :D El-Rovers gets Mars the change climate in just 10 years or so, we are in trouble..

  • I thought the whole goal in meeting with China and India was to get them to agree on inspections to make sure they are cutting carbon. That is what Hillary said the hold up was.

Obama comes out and claims victory over China and India getting there way.

Nice spin... Claiming victory when China and India hand you your ass on a silver platter.

I cannot believe that Americas are so ignorant and to believe this man.

  • Obama has done nothing to get America free from oil. Al those Billions of dollars and not one nuclear reactor.

All this talk he fails to mention that the small countries are upset about the deal becasuse the 100 billion a year from the US to them is not enough.

Cap and trade (tax) will only server to increase prices in America.

Obama does not know that Air Force one was buzzing New York, he had no idea who was on the plane, he has no idea what is on the nations Christmas tree.

  • Anyone supporting this "climate treaty" needs to do a youtube search on LORD MONCKTON , science advisor to Maragret Thatcher and world known Climatologist. He has a video up that tells in detail what the treaty says and what it will change for ALL countries that will sign it. If you really want to know about Copenhagen , youtube search LORD CHRISTOPHER MONCKTON

  • excellent Obama!

  • Social Justice is getting to keep what you worked hard to earn for yourself and not give ti to warlords in 3rd world con\untries.

  • BrainDeadRepublican: Is that what Jesus told you! I thought Jesus said give up all your worldly possessions.

  • Speaking from my own experience of being in charge of things, I say Obama has the right idea. I've also found that in situations where lots of people have strong and opposing views, it's much better to start off by finding whatever commonly acceptable grounds there might be and work from there, instead of trying to force perhaps necessary but controversial decisions right off the bat.

Nice to see a reasonable man in the white house.

  • <3 OBAMA

  • I think that the biggest flaw in the U.S. and the world's thinking about climate change is that they are putting the human component at the forefront when there is evidence that there may be evidence that scientists have suppressed evidence about cooling and the fact that climate change is also a result of nature. However I do think that it is good for the US & the world to limit their emissions in a way that is economical to protect our health.

  • Would you kill your self to cut emissions ?

the EPA have decleared your exhaling a threat to the planet, and that is not even a joke ..

  • Don't forget your methane emissions as well.Even dying would be detrimental to a healthy planet. Somewhere I read that all the processed foods we eat, where there are preservatives added to the foods, those preservatives accumulate to a certain degree in the tissues or cells, anyway, the preservatives in the foods;slow down the decomposition rate of the body and contribute to toxins and others in the ground, water, and atmosphere.Soon they will want to outlaw mowing your grass, since it emits ozone

  • @soldieroffortune1974 yea, ozon is great for you, but these nutcases tells you it is poison so you wont use it to get well.

Ozon has 3 oxygen molecules and heals pretty darn well...

  • US media is clearly pandering to climate change deniers, via this recent "Climate Gate."

US media is not concerned with scientific integrity, or helping the public understand this important subject.

Media, being corporate owned, puts on the air whatever garners the most sensational attention, so they can sell the "real estate" commercial time.

It makes them lots of money, at the expense of an uninformed public, whose paranoia and illiteracy is only worsened.

    It's a national disgrace.

  • @abyssquick The disgrace is yours!

All the total emissions of internal combustion engines since their invention do not equall the output of emissions by one naturally occuring forest fire in one of our national forests, which burns for 72 hours!

  • Huh?

The sum of mankind's activity on the planet is not solely from "combustion engines." It is also to a vast extent from such wide and varied things as overfishing, animal farming, deforestation (which cuts down on CO2 absorption rate), and other emissions.

Here's a more palpable perspective - It has been repeatedly shown geologically and in modern times that a single large volcanic eruption can alter global temperatures for 1-2 years.

    ...and mankind's activity is continuous.

  • The idea that the weather changes is so new and amazing to these people that they felt the need to have a global conference to discuss it?

  • It's a scam, of course. Our leaders need this to happen so countries like Switzerland who have been ravaged by climate change can get a massive transfer of wealth. *wink wink*

  • Heavy snow forced the 49ers-Eagles game to be moved to 4:15 p.m. ET Sunday and delayed the Bears' trip out of Chicago.-nfl com (the first day of winter has not hit yet!)

    Sorry, Baryy,

So tell me again about this Global Warming BS ur trying tio fix mother nature and such?

  • @glondormiller I hear that

  • ... and Obama had a bunch of crackpots - all cousins of Somali pirates and those Czars and commies and loons and puppets of dictators DEEM that the USA??... give them MORE MONEY?.. to pretend they are going to put up a windmill~ ??? ......... you gotta be kidding!..... nobody believes one word of any of these creepy little Al GoreBull liars and fraud nutty professors! ........ Obama is doing the PeePee dance - trying to keep in motion so no one can get near him and ask any REAL QUESTIONS!

  • ...so two years & 160? or more peeps worked on absolutley = NOTHING all based on a bunch of lazy grifters LIES and miss=oracles .....fraud charts & graphs & fake crackpot science .... & they all still showed up there IN A SNOW STORM?...... where was THE HEAT?.....come on now!...... Obama stands there pontificating "made up facts" .. & embarrased himself into the utter dust by ruining the earth & its climate with his constant JET flights & never shutting his ~ hot air ~ producing GOOB MOUTH

  • "Climate change" is natural though, the official "science" has been manipulated and has now been disapproved by non-corporate studies at Universities and by other officials (such as Piers Corbyn)... The whole carbon thing is to gain money... and to gain world power. Official documents and statements show that they want to heartlessly depopulate society, making us believe we are the evil ones when it is them.

  • Right Obama... In order for Air Force One to fly somehwere, multiple aircraft have to fly there beforehand.... Not only did you fly to Copenhagen, you rode around in a big limo, and what happened from this? Nothing much... It's merely a speech that did nothing.

  • Wow... climate change deniers are getting out of hand.

    Subjects to study:

Desertification, Climate Zone Shift, Extreme Ice Loss, Permafrost, Ocean Temperatures, Species Migration --

and, obviously Climatology and Paleoclimatology --

All of these different fields present information about the obvious ecumenical fact of warming. It is an observable fact, even in my own esoteric field of research. It's not some tenuous conclusion!

Denialist conspiracy theories are clearly political myths.

  • i gotta admit you actually got me to laugh at that

  • I work in a relevant biological field, looking at species climate tolerance, evolution, and distribution.

Hearing these partisan armchair critics, typically scientific illiterates, go on and on about "cooling" and "conspiracy" in complete denial of palpable evidence, is really disturbing to me.

So, I am giving them homework by pointing to something other than the obvious science of climatology. Clear evidence of warming (and it's causes) is all over the earth sciences as a whole.

  • I agree that climate change deniers are getting out of hand. All the evidence exists that the climate is continually changing. Scientists are finding evidence of climate change even before we humans came on the scene. We know the average temperature has been falling the last 10 years. So that's present evidence of climate change. By induction, it's then a no-brainer that after we humans are gone the climate will continue to change. Anyone who denies that is obviously in denial.

  • I am talking about warming. The notion that the earth has been "cooling" is utter anti-science nonsense.

I have listed all sorts of attendant sciences aside from climatology, where this evidence is prevalent. Don't think it is only climatologists who say the earth is warming. This goes through geography, geology (soil science), chemistry and especially biology (species distribution, migration, breeding patterns).

This research has been going on for decades. Don't conflate it with politics.

  • The evidence is there for warming, too. In fact, the earth was so warm at one point in its history all the frozen methane in Siberia evaporated into gas. Now, I have 64 MB in emails from the CRU in GB. Some of it talks about "hiding the decline". So-called man-made climate change is clearly a scam. The U.S. gov't is funding these scientists to show warming. So they fake the data as mentioned in their emails to continue receiving funding. Why should I trust that data when actual shows a decline?

  • Are you serious?

The "decline" they are referring to (if you care to reference the papers discussed) is referring to the growth of tree rings, and whether they are a steady or applicable measure of temperature. As a botanist myself, I would argue that they are not, and should not be included in climate charts.

The word "trick" is in the different mathematic/scientific usage - meaning to refocus or convert in order to make progress.

Jeez, the public is so illiterate. No idea at all.

  • The question really becomes why do tree rings, which are but one of MANY temperature indications traditionally referenced in the past, show a decline in recent years? That is the true scientific anomaly. Every other indication shows distinct warming, except for trees, whice are behaving differently than expected.

As a botanist, I'm interested, it means we are about to learn something new about the growth of trees.

  • @abyssquick As a Botanist you can see the conflict between CO(2) emissions needing regulation, and the symbiotic relationship between Oxygen breathers and Plant life. Please explain the negative impact of CO(2) on plants.

  • Understand - I'm not necessarily in support of the emissions politics. Don't confuse my interest in the science as support for a type of regulation.

CO2 is only one aspect. Anything that affects the climate affects the gene pools of all life, especially in rapidly warming zones. It causes change in the alleles, and in the dynamics of ecosystems, especially where we have drastic change, such as melting permafrost in places like Alaska and Siberia, or the loss of old polar ice.

  • Hmm..I took EDA in college and have a math degree. Please elaborate on this statistical trick which is one of hundreds to show data supporting your cause...ermm...I mean...make progress.

Yep. The public is so illiterate they need a gigantic, non-respresentative government to watch over them, feed and clothe them.

I can't wait for day your job is outsourced to India and you wind up working in a plant nursery for minimum wage. Then you'll learn to trust your government.

  • My "cause"...? What cause? I don't support the politics necessarily. You're conflating science with politics again. I only care that the public understands the science. I despise the political shit show this has become.

I believe I just told you the context of the word "trick" in reference to tree ring data on temperature. If you're such an educated literate individual I'm sure you know where to go from there....

The science is pretty clear on the issue.

  • Too bad. Politics and science go hand-in-hand. After all, who is funding these global warming scientists? The government!

BTW, correlations exist between the government and other entities. Follow the money trail and factor that in to the overall picture.

In your opinion this climate change that has been happening since there was a climate is human-caused. What in your opinion is the proof you as a botanist can point to? Can one grow a Washington Palm in Wyoming, yet? In the past you could!

  • Provinvial change is not global change. Some areas even get colder as air currents change.

To follow your logic, you can now grow Needle Palms on Cape Cod, Ma. Washington palms and trachycarpus species in British Columbia. You can grow types of citrus in LA and GA. You can grow ultratropicals such as Mangosteen and Langsat on mainland FL now. All of these species were tried repeatedly over the last century, with no successes.

Species from the south are migrating north, due to zone shift.

  • You should try the species 'washingtonia filifera' specifically. The far more common 'washingtonia robusta' species is not as cold tolerant as 'w. filifera.' W. filifera has about 5-10 degrees more tolerance for cold. It's a huskier, thick trunked tree, that doesn't get as tall as w. robusta.

  • @abyssquick, So you're telling me you can grow a palm tree to maturity outdoors in Wyoming? Even if you leave the dead fronds on it for insulation you still couldn't do it.

  • That depends entirely on the type of palm (trunking or shrub) and the part of Wyoming. Bear in mind that inland there has not been as much warming as in the South and near coastlines. Google: "arbor day climate maps" to see maps and comparisons of US climate averages. I was growing palms in MA for several years - 'washingtonia' species being one type that wintered over several years in a row.

  • Actually, a lot of it is being conducted by Universities. It's not just the "government" (how convenient such sweeping generalizations are as a waste receptacle...!

The government has a geologic council, too. Since you point is obviously that "the government is lying!" then I suppose the National Geological employees must be making up evidence also...? Maybe to cover up the fact that the earth is only 6,000 years old ...? Or something ...?

I don't know. But really, people.

  • @abyssquick NO! You know how it works, everyone gets taught the lie from the start, thats is why so few people know about it, and why it is so hard to believe.

History is wrong on many fronts.

There 'has to be a coverup' on all fronts for the lies to work. That is why so many things dont make any sense, but you go along with it because findng evidence and 90% of the populous is indoctrinated into the coverup, it is hard to get any where on the matter, since the Facts are made to hide the truth.

  • The effects of climate change are felt throughout the earth sciences, and have been recorded and observed for decades. Or is it just my imagination ? I deal with the fact of climate shift / change on a daily basis. In the form of palpable data and climate zone experiments with plant material.

Conspiracy nonsense irritates me because it is provincial, (within the USA) often spread by unspecialized critics reacting to a politician, people who don't do the work, or consult the field science.

  • Unspecialized people don't know the scope of the problem. They think it's some opinion of 'climatologists" and that's it. Yet we have palpable incoming data from all over ecology and biology:

Desertification in Asia, Africa, Australia. Massive permafrost thaw in Siberia, Alaska, Canada. Species migration and distribution change in latitude. Massive die-off of climate sensitive organisms. Extreme loss of ancient ice.

This would have to be a pretty big "conspiracy" to account for all that.

  • I would say the skepticism comes from the funding part.Scientists have been bickering and giving conflicting reports about it as long as it's been studied.Based on opinion and conjecture, oh sorry, a hypothesis.

This group says give us more money and we will get real answers. The other group says we need more money to explore a different avenue. Then yet another group says the 1st 2 are both wrong, but if they get the money they can prove them wrong.

I specialize in several areas= follow the money

  • When you're talking about hundreds of millions of dollars for research, where you may or may not get an answer, just a strong maybe, I can see the incentive to fudge the numbers to keep the funding coming in.I believe in reducing pollution, but I'm not entirely too convinced man has created the dilemma. The earth naturally goes through heating and cooling cycles. Since they occur every 26,000 years, the data that is collected now, wont be useful for another 25,900 years,if the past century did do it

  • They've had a grip on the natural warming/cooling of the earth for decades. Paleo/climatologists don't just marvel at the oscillation of natural, expected cycles. The predictive faculties of climatology have proven very accurate.

Anyone who understands basic earth carbon cycles cannot help but be alarmed by the implications of what is going. We need less politics and more science. Field scientists don't get paid very much. They do their work because it is interesting.

  • I would like to know where the predictive faculties are proven accurate. As proving anything isn't a part of science. I would also like to hear what predictions were made that were accurate. Tornadoes? Hurricanes? volcanic eruptions? The only thing that can be predicted is the path of such disasters AFTER the event has occured. That's the biggest thing about climatology, it isn't predictable,it's also why the findings arent conclusive until an event has ALREADY occured.AFTER the fact

  • I should add that "weather" is not "climate." Many people confuse the two. Weather is the relatively unpredictable daily nuances (which generally adhere to seasonal patterns, however). "Climate" is the larger global pattern, based on annual and decadal data from regions all over the world, land and sea. The study of the entire planetary system, the ecumenical oscillation of natural cycles, of which weather is merely a part.

  • Before you go and say those have nothing to do with it, (I disagree however) I do understand Blackbody radiation ,electromagnetic radiation, the way CO2 is stored in rocks, soil, etc. I also understand the thermohaline flows, and Hadley cells that are responsible for our weather. I get all that( and some too numerous to put on youtube) My point is, how do they determine it's our fault, seperated from a natural occurence? They don't,but funding comes in when they say the sky is falling

  • Rather simply (for science). The properties of the CO2 (and methane) gas relative to it's concentration (perceptible, observable effects) as compared with the usual oscillation of atmospheric carbon concentrations as recorded in polar ice.

What has occurred since the industrial age is well outside the expected CO2 concentration, and the natural warming parameters. Human output is now roughly equal to 8,000 "Kiluea" sized volcanoes. It's enough mass to have perceptible effects.

  • Even if the research were inconclusive as to the extent of mankind's effect, it still would be gravely irresponsible not to scale back these greenhouse gases to err on the side of caution. We only have one planet, and we don't want to mess it up - we should be preemptive.

Even inconclusive 'evidence' of mankind's effect is -not- the same as "we are having no effect." We may only exacerbate what is going on, natural or not. The US public seems to have consistent bad logic on this logical point.

  • I would have to agree on all of those points. I do believe in reducing pollution, taking care of the environment, preserving the earth for our children, finding alternative sources of energy, etc etc. I just don't believe we should spend countless of millions or even billions of dollars and set a time frame,or try to coerce other nations into believing what we do.Without out solid proof one way or the other,it's all speculation and conjecture.

There is evidence man has SOME impact,it's inevitable

  • Yes, but the word 'conjecture' is consistently misused, often depending on the politics of the user.

It's often construed as "guess" or "hunch" when in fact most of science, by being inferred in large-scale models, is technically "conjecture."

Science is erudite, educated conjecture. If one is familiar with how it works, it holds much more credence than other opinions. Everybody has an opinion, yes - but the key is always to figure out whose is the most informed, coherent, and dynamic.

  • It's cooling period

  • @abyssquick Using big words doesn't help your case for your failed science. It just makes you look more like an arrogant idiot misled by your talking point gods.

  • I'm not using big words. Science requires prerequisite understanding. Every human "culture" has it's own "lingo" and frame of reference.

I don't listen at all to the recent politics on this - because the science is lost either way once politics is involved.

The US public seems to think that only the climatologists are saying "the earth is warming" when in fact this observation has been made through all of the earth sciences, for decades. This coherence seems entirely lost on the US public.

  • @abyssquick The problem is the politicization of science

  • "Big words"... I had to read that again... Understand that the public generally doesn't care to examine the dictionary (do you see how thick the darn thing is!). Much the same way that lack the interest in science. "It's too complex" they say. Well, you'd be surprised how complicated this English language can get-- let alone the content of subjects we use it to describe...

  • What do you have to say about the hacked emails out of London, that proved the fraudulent science being used to push a hidden agenda. They are intentionally cooking the numbers and skewing the data to manufacture a problem.

Denialist conspiracy theories? It's called not wishing to be scammed by the NWO eugenics agenda.

  • Hacked e-mails? I don't really know how to respond to this. Generally, armchair critics seem to think it's just "climate data" and that's the "case" for the science. The fact is (for those of us, like myself, who work in in a related field) that there is decades of ecological data - changing season patterns, melting permafrost, changes in species' distribution, ocean PH, etc.

I simply don't have the time to slake compartmentalized ignorance and disinterest in science. It's fruitless & tedious.

  • President Obama, you need to know that all of America is behind you in what you are doing for OUR environment!!!! So happy we are giving a few billion for the efforts to save the trees. I do wish that you could have committed more towards efforts to help poor nations with their energy reductions!!!! Your positive endeavers to fight global warming, and universal healthcare, in my opinion has helped to secure your re-election as our great President through 2016!!!!

  • @groundhog2008 Too bad he has the lowest approval rating in the first year of any President in history. He won't make it to 2016 HAHAHAHAHAH

  • this is very important folks*******listen and learn something..

  • Wow everyone who has been commenting seems pretty uninformed. Climate change is definitely real and happening. Water temperatures have been higher, ice bergs are melting, wake up. That being said there definitely is not enough being done on this issue. All we can do is gauge what the government does and try to pressure them where we believe they are doing wrong. However, Obama meeting with other economic leaders is a "step" in the right direction.

  • Climate change is real. It's been happening ever since there was a climate.

  • yep

it was the dinsours farts that made the earth so much warmer millions of years ago.

  • Oh boy, Ferretking25, some icebergs are melting.

Antarctica is melting! OH NOES! Actually, only the Antarctic peninsula is melting. The majority of Antarctica is actually cooling.

We've only inventoried a small handful of glaciers in the world and even a smaller number are watched regularly. Some glaciers are receding while some are growing.

We're not denying climate change, we're denying just how much it's changing because people are manipulating numbers to support their theories.

  • YES, Basicly the U.S. is and has been broke. When China calls in the debt, the people have been sold out. Soon it will be checkmate China.

  • I would say this is a step foward but

    1. nothing is being done

    2. nothing is being done

    3. nothing is being done and people will become fed up of hearing about climate change and will stop careing, BEACUSE NOTHING IS BEING DONE.

I bet tomorrow their will be an ad in careerbuilder "Looking for those that believe by taxing the people more we can change world climate. Prefer a scientist, but will train those who wish to be called scientist."

  • Where and when did Barry Soetoro change his name to Barack Obama?

  • bring the troops home

    end the FED

    investigate 911

    end the war on drugs

    prosecute the banking fraud

  • Obama is cool.

  • There is something fishy going on here. I'm sure nobody can put their finger on it. But, there is some sneaky stuff going on with this guy.

This is the White House YouTube page. It is being monitored by federal agents that have no life. Any negative comments by dissenters is considered a threat to National Security. The Freedom of Speech principles do not apply here. And the FEMA camps are coming soon too.

  • What would be unprecident would be Obama respecting American rights and values.

  • obama read the worlds middle finger.

  • This guy has got to go!!!!!

  • You mean, American taxpayers are footing the bill again for third world countries. Youve already spent all the peoples money for ten generations. Thanks but no thanks. Confront more REAL scientists that will disclose all their scientific findings.

  • o_o... sigh
