ive been dealing with bulimia for the last 1.5 year and i feel like ive been doing this for my whole life.i dont remember what it was like to go out and really feel pretty inspite of a full stomach after a self-indulge of my favourite food.i used to go on therapy and the doctors stuff were really great people and professionals but i chose to stop therapy for some reason i dont know
My goal is to meet and help others with eating disorders and provide information to those studying the disorders. If you have anorexia, bulimia, any type of ednos, or are addicted to exercise...you are not alone. Sometimes having someone to relate to is a coping technique. If this catches anyone's interest check out my videos. I am not a trained professional, just another human being caught in the vicious cycle of an eating disorder.
@genevevewrites Yes chewing and spitting is a symptom of an eating disorder, I personally havent suffered with it, but I have friends who have anorexia and they chew and spit also
Awesome. Thanks so much for posting this:) Who better to explain what its like than true sufferers. Its not something you choose. Its not for attention or to be 'beautiful" Its a disease, a disorder an illness. A pychiatric illness with the highest mortality rate out of any other psychiatric illness. Please don't judge us. It is a MENTAL DISORDER.

Does chewing food but not swallowing it qualify as an eating disorder? Like spitting it out in the cup and spitting out all spit tainted with food?
