They make it work because borders are closed and very little international trade.

I am not capitalist or socialist, I think politicians will always be corrupt, it is only on the level of influence that you allow them to have in your personal life that is the problem... how much more money do I need? Let them drown in their greed and you in your ideology, but if a person should ask you for help ever... you should help, regardless of political creed.
