Poor stupid bastards, how many do you need to kill before you will admit a theory that fails in practice is a shitty theory? I have met members of the Chinese Communist Party and they think Marx is a joke. North Korea is the last hold out and would fall apart at the united state's leisure the moment we figure the food aid isn't worth it.

@pesicool So you don't think there will be a "dictatorship of the proletariat" set up by a Lenin or a Mao? Communism can only succeed when everyone is dedicated to the purpose because when any number of people slack off or hoard goods for themselves the system starts to unravel. I don't think that any prospective Communist government in America will last unless it can control the actions of every last person in the country. Am I wrong?
the problem other countries have is their nation was now started like the USA, the declaration of independance and our constitution make the USA the strongest nation, for the people and by the people. communism in the states will never work. sorry... just wont. the entire world survives off the economy of the USA, our economy falls then so will yours. wonder why that is? i'll tell you, its cause the whole world has invested interest in our nation! we are the brave, we are the free.
The problem is that Leninism is dead which is a fast form of socialism it was too fast vs the other format of a gradual socailism which has nearly killed off Europe but no seeks to overrule the Constitution and Bill of Rights of the US. However the socalists will lose again in the US as they did back in 1919
thats is the problem with communism, it will never work! it will always lead to a dictatorship. communism looks good on paper, but in reality it fails.
Well in fairness to communism and marxism, there's never been a true example of it. Eg Russia - no revolution but a military coup, so they were off to a bad start - the people didn't rise up at all! And then of course the working classes have always suffered and thier living standards were never prioratised - A communist must. They were dictators with communist propaganda, rather than communists that became dictators, because again, they never embrace democracy, another marxist must.
In fairness... that's what communism proclaims it can produce, which it can't... Marxism failed under the man who came up with it. Communism has been tried and tried again, only to fail again and again. "They were dictators with communist propaganda, rather than communist that became dictators..." so you're saying having a dictatorship is a good thing? Communism will never embrace democracy, democracy entitles the people to vote in new leaders... which would disrupt the Communist ideal, Control
oh... so having no police is good? having no one to turn to for aid is good? like the fire department, or EMT... and you call me an ignoramus? HAHAHAHA! [waving towards you!] !
Police help to police your neighborhoods, your cities, your streets... with out police who is going to regulate people who drive recklessly/drunk/under the influence? who is going to keep crime from becoming wide spread? enjoy your Failure to understand simple logic
@BolivarianYouth It's been a while... came backt to this vid to respond to some other comment, and couldn't help but laugh again at your stupidity! Your comment explains only the cons of communism and nothing of it's pros... and you're for communism? I hope not, otherwise you're just really confused!
@shaokem Dude he's saying that the people that have talked about communism have never ran the system the way it should have been run.Invariably they always try to rule themselves rather than let the system be what it was meant to be a vehicle for The people to have power. Not for a dictator to have power over the people. But corruption unfornately has a habit of sneaking into every form of government even our own democratic republic.A human failing perhaps...
@gamesmaster35 That's exactly the problem these nutjobs do not understand. The Human Element. You can write up the greatest system of government you want, it will look amazing on paper... it will inspire people to do great things in their life perhaps. But once to try to use such a system, and stir in the Human Element it will ultimately fail. They make it sound so simple... "If we all can just get along and pull together, then this will work!" HAHAHAHA! Sounds like a bunch of Hippy Bullshit.
@shaokem I do understand what you're trying to say but what would be your solution? If you don't try something new you will always get the same result.I can't say I advocate pure communism.I think ultimately it would stifle innovation and progress if people aren't rewarded in some way for doing extra. But the unlimited acumulation of wealth by a few select people will be the death of this nation.A hybrid is necessary the problem is how much communism to how much capitialism?
@gamesmaster35 I feel the same way about communism as you. Capitalism without regulation will cause corruption. What people don't seem to understand is corruption isn't going away. Just because you don't like something it's not safe to pretend you can just wish it away with happy thoughts/ideas. I feel what we need here in the states is regulated capitalism with of course enough taxation to keep social programs alive. Regulation to some degree will fix a lot of problems.
@shaokem You are not right there. It entirely depends on the method used to achieve it. In modern times there are many other possibilities towards proper communism.
You cannot say that it will not work because it has never been done state-wise.
It is also better for a country to aim towards Utopia, rather than bathe itself in a corrupt system.
@PesiCool What I find laughable is your inability to understand that corruption is everywhere. And when given and opportunity to take more advantage of other it will do so. Communism only allows corruption to do so at an alarming rate. Don't worry yourself with trying to explain to which you can not. Keep talking about "Utopia" and thinking your way of government is bliss, when history proves it is not. Never did I once say we're better, just the lesser of two evils.
@PesiCool You actually believe something pure exists? You do, don't you?!!!! Explain to me why communism isn't corruptible? Explain why it hasn't worked, then tell me how we make it work. And could you please leave the fairy tale description out of your explanation! K, thanks!
@shaokem Communism is stateless, there is no private property in modern sense and there is no form of government (only direct democracy). There is not even a slight chance of corruption under pure communism, unless you abandon the whole system and turn to something completely different.. then it isn't communist anymore. It will be fascist, capitalist, corporatist, dictatorship (etc..) corruption.
The sweet thing about communism is that you profit as society profits, through teamwork, instead of
@PesiCool So... there is no government, and no private property. So... I'd be able to take what ever land you may be inhabiting and claim it for my own and use it the way I see fit. Wouldn't that create a problem? What about laws, who would enforce them?
@shaokem read over my comments. Trust me, pure communism is completely thought through and even if society would encounter problems, they would be resolved through direct democracy.
@PesiCool I guess you won't be a teacher in this new society. I've read your comments you refer to. Nothing you've said explains what would happen in the case of emergency and who organizes this system who pays who. Also who is going to pay for college? Who is going to pay for those to attend college who do not have the means in which to pay but have a high grade point average. What about the leeches on the system? Who is going to work for those who do not?
@PesiCool If a system is created by the people and organization is implemented how then will it not become a governing body? Hence the birth of a government.
@PesiCool Explain to me then how a government wouldn't happen then? call it what ever you want, the governing system will be a government. The people speak, who do they speak to? Other people that carry that message to whom? Kinda funny how our government was created by the people for the people. Yet you don't understand it or of course don't believe in it. Look we'll never see eye to eye, you'll just call me ignorant for not agreeing with you and I'll just continue to enjoy your lack of reality
@shaokem I swear not to call you ignorant. If you want to discuss this further you can give me the name of any im program account you have so I can add you there.
You have gotten into a whole different area in regards to the foundation of the USA.
@PesiCool Collective economies of any sort are doomed for failure. I was just reading in one of my religious studies books about the Christian farming communities that sprung up in the mid 1800's and yes they all failed. Not for religious reasons, ...but the fact that unequal productivity equals people mooching off of the backs of others which invariably becomes intolerable. Always remember Man is inherently stupid, lazy and greedy and at every opportunity he will disappoint you.
@shaokem I for one am a very hard worker and many people I know are as well. I predict no change in our "habits" under a communist system, except some for the better.
What I think was the failure for these communes was that they didn't design a work quota based system and they didn't enforce it, i.e. they let some people get away with working too little and then gave them more than they needed.
@PesiCool I'm happy that you're a hard worker! And also your friends as well. Tell me, do you know that not every one is not a hard worker. And that many people will not work harder for less money to support them. Also about this enforcing rules/laws, who is going to be enforcing anything without a government? Gather your thoughts and think this out clearly. Perhaps you're too close-minded to see.
@shaokem In a modern society we could also emphasize building machines to do the large majority of the work, so we could reserve manpower and be more practical.
You are too close minded and I think you don't see the obvious error in the capitalist system, as well as the monetary system. I won't even get into that discussion now as I would just write another 1000 page essay on that matter, and you still wouldn't listen. I could as well be arguing with a wall.
@PesiCool Oh, so more automation! Wow! Yeah, that would go over very well. How about we just give everyone desk jobs and have robots do all the laborious work.
@PesiCool No... I'm not twisting anything. You said and I quote "In a modern society we could also emphasize building machines to do the large majority of the work". Yeah, we could reserve manpower, but for what? How many office clerks do we need? Look, there are dumb people and there are smart people, there are weak people and there are strong people. Not everyone is equal, no matter what you were taught growing up. Try and come up with explanations instead of pipe dreams.
@PesiCool One more thing... your idea would work in a very small commune. And, sadly that's about it. Even then you would have problems. Every system would have problems. But trying to equalize people who are far from equal is impossible.
@shaokem You simply have no qualification to make such a claim, besides I have thought these things through, and there are whole libraries of work dedicated to developing societies with such systems. You are simply unrealistic and too narrow minded to actually look into what communism is. If you think this system we live under which is the root cause of all of our modern problems is realistic, then you are insane.
@PesiCool Where do you get off making such assumptions? You say you have thought these things out, well good for you! I hope in your mind it makes absolute sense. I never once said our present government is the greatest or that we don't have problems that need fixing. What I will say is communism in any form no matter how you stretch it, is not the answer. If you're going to berate me for my opinion, no harm done as it's typical for someone in your shoes. Have a good day my communist friend!
@PesiCool I'm beginning to think pure communism is just something you've made up. Anyone could just as easily coin the term 'Pure Capitalism' and say it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Would they be correct? NO! they would be incorrect and would only be speaking from opinion and not fact/s. Look, you keep asking if I know what pure communism is, you've not explained anything that hasn't any holes in its theory. So... what exactly are you trying to get me to believe? That you're right?
@PesiCool "Strictly speaking, pure communism is a stage of social development where material and productive forces are advanced to a degree where actual freedom (freedom from necessity, and thus from wage labor and alienation from work) for every person is possible" Again, this explanation of 'pure communism' still answers no questions... its only a theory. Pays no attention to the many who do not work, the many who will not work extra for those who do not lend a helping hand. Man is lazy
@shaokem You exclude the capability of machines to take over some jobs and mass production capabilities with advanced technology. Besides, a work quota or something else of similar nature, would be implemented and people will get what they need, according to their ability to benefit the society.
How do you make those who do not want to work, work in a capitalist society anyway? Capitalism causes many problems that otherwise wouldn't exist. Yet, capitalists claim they are better managed in a....
@PesiCool Exactly... you can't make them work. But you limit them to benefits life can have when effort is not put forth. This is why we have section 8 housing. This is why we have a wrecked healthcare system. All I've been trying to say all along is these problems aren't going away. The theory of the void is once you remove something i.e. a problem it will be replaced with another set of problems. Pro's and Con's to everything dear, Watson
@shaokem Capitalism never solves any problems, it only moves them to be dealt with later. Communism solves problems. I think that a stronger motivator than money and wealth would be need, comradeship and happiness. If you work hard 16 hours a day just to survive, I highly doubt you will be as happy and productive as an individual that works doing the thing he loves doing, without being concerned about having to pay the bills, taxes, etc.
@shaokem They can always be forced to work or put into some sort of programs. (I don't see how that's inhumane as communism would undoubtibly offer them a more variety of jobs where wage concerns are out of the question, and in capitalism they are also forced, more brutally into worse jobs so they will survive)
@PesiCool exactly... there are going to be needy people, and there has to be a way to care for them. Many of them can't work for health reasons, others choose not to work simply cause they are lazy. How are they going to be cared for when others are made to put forth their efforts while the lazy still do nothing. This happens today, and yes laws to enforce them to keep up their end of the section8 deal... but the problem is lack of enforcement with many laws in our day.
@shaokem Unemployment is man made, there are huge amount of people who are capable and willing to work, but are prevented to by this imaginary monetary system which has ruined societies. Like I said before, there are many measures that can be taken to fix the "problem" of laziness, although I wouldn't consider that a major problem like you do.
First off, machines & robots could replace many human jobs, which is happening today and is horrible for the proletariat on a capitalist society, but...
@PesiCool Dude... Jobs are scarce in many areas because of exporting jobs! Once the trade markets were open with other countries and ours and the ability to move production overseas became a cheap and easy reality. Guess what happened.., the Human Element happened. Look at other countries that stay within their borders. Sweden is one shining example... A republic/socialist governed by democracy. They make it work because borders are closed and very little international trade.
@shaokem They export jobs to cheaper places, because then they can earn more money. They can also get away with oppressing the people more easily. You can not live your life without the suffering of others under this system. You can however live an even better life if the world was globally communist without leaders and governments.
@PesiCool Probably not what you think I have in mind. In some way there would have to be enforcement of rules/laws. Just because everyone has what they need doesn't mean John Doe wouldn't want more for himself. Not everyone is like minded.
@shaokem Yes, there would be a direct democracy and laws would be formed accordingly. There can be many ways of achieving this and I have thought up a few myself, which might be implemented in a future commune... who knows? There will also be the automatically armed forces of the whole nation, i.e. the whole nation arms itself and prevents people from messing things up. This would, however, require regulations. There is a variety of methods possible and like I said before, I have personally
@shaokem thought a few up to solve each matter, with a rather large group of people I am in contact with at the moment. We aim to make... something happen. I'll rest at that.
@shaokem great for them in a communist one. This will effectively reduce the manpower needed for society to function, as well as alleviating us from the hardest jobs. Work quotas could be reduced and people would have more free time. Mass production would also serve a purpose, but the difference between a communist society and a capitalist one is that there would be much more practicality and less wastefulness in communism. We wouldn't need much of the crap we create today which also happens
@PesiCool This is one huge problem with capitalism... is consuming consuming and then more consuming. I've had the same car for 10 years. Before that was the car I got during high school. I hate shopping... what guy does? I do how ever buy quality over quantity. Which is a lesson many have lost and it's hard to keep with Walmarts everywhere selling chinese crap. Anyways, I'm getting off subject a bit. I'm a firm believe if anything goes unchecked and done without care recklessness will happen.
@shaokem And that is why any market and well... just capitalist principles overall are a horrible idea. They give the room for the individual to become more powerful than anything, which in return reflects on his interests being above society's. Have you ever played monopoly?
I agree, I choose quality over quantity. Consumerism is ensuring that products are being destroyed as fast as possible, so people throw them away and buy new ones. It is extremely wasteful and bad overall.
@PesiCool I'm with ya there, bro. One day, probably in my lifetime the people will rise up. No question about it. It happened I'll say post-mature for the tea-partiers... meaning they spoke up to little to late. Where were they when Bush rammed ahead with Iraq? When everyone, the world even had it's sites on Afghanistan. Don't even get me started. Lost good friends over there. Anyways... Change is needed. Is that change communism? Or will what we have stay and laws actually be enforced 360!
@shaokem People mistake communism for an authoritarian dictatorship that controls every aspect of human life, tortures and enslaves it's people etc., etc., when it couldn't be further from the truth. It is the opposite and people tend to support the fascist ideology which is slowly murdering our planet.
@PesiCool Wastefulness is a huge problem for everyone... not just America, not just capitalism. Hell, our capitalism is giving the chinese more power with our vastly uneven trade. They buy nothing from the US in the form of material/goods only bonds/our debt. This is what happens when balances are not made. Becoming more efficient will happen, will we go communist because of that? Guess we'll wait and see.
@shaokem But capitalism could not sustain itself, it requires an infinite universe, which we sadly do not live in. You need cheap labor and all the bad aspects of current poverished countries, so you can profit. I want communism were we all work together to reach a good society for all. It is possible, we are producing more food than all humanity can eat, just to name an example. The unequal distribution of wealth and the market are destroying everything. Why can't people just open their eyes?!
@shaokem to destroy this planet in the longterm. Of course we would treat for the sick and disabled, an individual can fulfill his work quota and produce for more than himself. (Farmers, builders, workers, etc.)
I don't see why society couldn't function as you claim.
@PesiCool You haven't read all my comments to you, or answered those as of yet. So I'm to assume you have no answer. But I'm sure you'll have some pretentious retort, excluding you from having to come forth with an answer as to which you have none. Good day! And Merry Christmas!!!
Communism is stateless, it has a direct democracy where matters are solved by the whole population. Money is simply removed from the equation. That changes everything and pretty much answers all your previous questions. Everyone is considered equal and no one can be above anyone else. There is a set of basic laws composed beforehand in a ... constitution if you will, to preserve the form of society.
What more do you want? Do you have any basic idea of what communism is? seems like
Also, what does "No private property in modern sense" even mean? are we going back to a medieval sense? or some to so distant past sense? or are we going to need a future sense of the idea of having no property/belongings? are we all converting to Buddhism? So if we have nothing who is providing us with materials? and who is regulating the funds in which these companies making such materials? How can you have order without springing forth a government?
What if someone abandons communism and robs another, stealing all they have... I mean everything. Their money, tools for work, transportation for work and even their food, and even their dog! Who is going to see to it the man gets his things renewed to him or returned to him? What if no one wants to help the guy out cause he's a mean old bastard and isn't really a team player to begin with. What about all the people around today mooching off the system who are not team players?
There are plenty of ways to achieve pure communism, for example.. educating ignorant, close minded people like you, forming a commune with pure communist principles and gaining worldwide attention or even form a nation or a model country, etc.
The moment you realize that we live in a finite world, you will see that capitalism is simply impossible and it is dreamlike to think it works. You are the truly insane individual if you think capitalism is superior to communism.
@PesiCool Here we go with the name calling... I never once called you closed minded, only perhaps misguided in thinking the world you speak of is actually possible. Is capitalism superior, hell no! Not when corruption takes hold and no one is doing their checks and balances. No one system is complete, no one system is superior. But like I've said, the lesser or two evils. What you've explained like all other like you, sounds great on paper!!!
@shaokem It has never been attempted in reality and that is why I am working on a certain project with a lot of people. You may hear about it in the future....
@PesiCool Why is that? I mean if it's so perfect and so profoundly superior to anything else... Why hasn't it worked, and how do you think you're capable when the creators of it failed horribly?
@PesiCool So, you don't favor their communism? Or do you try to distance yourself from that ilk so to speak, in hopes the bad taste won't follow your movement?
@shaokem I don't know what "their communism" you are talking about, you should let me finish typing a comment before posting another 5, you are really distracting me.
Now I am going to type a comment to answer your previous questions and then I will look into the rest of your replies... OK?
@shaokem You have made so many incorrect statements about communism and asked questions regarding problems that would be oblivious in a communist society.
Stalin is not the founder of communist, far from it.
Communism has never been attempted.
Communism can be achieved.
Karl Marx never failed..?
Money would not exist in a pure communist society.
You should read more about communism. I have an idea, can I add you on msn or another program where we can talk openly about this instead of annoying
If you wish to discuss this with me, you can send me a private message with your account name on some instant messaging program, so I can add you and we can discuss this further.
Communism is dead, just like Stalin, Lenin, Trotsky, Kim Il-Sung and Mao Zedong. I can't wait until the Communists in Laos and North Korea die, so that this shit will finally be wiped from the toilet seat of history.
Yes, cool you think Communism will die just like that. Got news baby, just like damn Latin (the "dead" language that still manages to linger around) the idea of Communism will never die. It will still be supported (even though probably by a very small minority).
How about the truth. The US is the greatest country in the history of the world. Why? Highest standard of living in history-people living longer than ever. Eradication of poverty-has the richest "poor" people in the world. Elimination of racism-black president. Greatest upward mobility in history-American Dream. Leaders in education, arts and science-more culture comes from U.S. then everywhere else combined, 85% of PhDs earned in U.S. Face the facts and help to nail comm's coffin shut.
no soviet union had erradicated unemployment, poverty and evry one of the civilions were equaly as each other. the only flaw in it was the government decided to take alot of money of them.
the usa doesn't have a well fair state and no healh care for the poor.
Really? Well according to the Human Development Index, as compiled by the pro-Western/ Capitalism United Nations, the U$A isn't even close to having the highest standard of living nor is it even close to being the freest nation. The fact that Amerikkka has accumulated great wealth is a result of the systematic exploitation and oppression of the world majority. Slaves like you will be strung up from lightposts when the WHOLE WORLD erases the Fat Nation off the face of the planet.
I am not capitalist or socialist, I think politicians will always be corrupt, it is only on the level of influence that you allow them to have in your personal life that is the problem... how much more money do I need? Let them drown in their greed and you in your ideology, but if a person should ask you for help ever... you should help, regardless of political creed.
@ArjunaMysterytramp capitalism - socialism is the scale of control of means of production. You are ether one, you lean towards ether side, denieing this is idiotic.

Communist countries are/were dictatorships because those who gained power used the idea of communism as a carrot on a stick.

@BolivarianYouth It's been a while... came backt to this vid to respond to some other comment, and couldn't help but laugh again at your stupidity! Your comment explains only the cons of communism and nothing of it's pros... and you're for communism? I hope not, otherwise you're just really confused!
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem Dude he's saying that the people that have talked about communism have never ran the system the way it should have been run.Invariably they always try to rule themselves rather than let the system be what it was meant to be a vehicle for The people to have power. Not for a dictator to have power over the people. But corruption unfornately has a habit of sneaking into every form of government even our own democratic republic.A human failing perhaps...
gamesmaster35 1 year ago
@gamesmaster35 That's exactly the problem these nutjobs do not understand. The Human Element. You can write up the greatest system of government you want, it will look amazing on paper... it will inspire people to do great things in their life perhaps. But once to try to use such a system, and stir in the Human Element it will ultimately fail. They make it sound so simple... "If we all can just get along and pull together, then this will work!" HAHAHAHA! Sounds like a bunch of Hippy Bullshit.
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem I do understand what you're trying to say but what would be your solution? If you don't try something new you will always get the same result.I can't say I advocate pure communism.I think ultimately it would stifle innovation and progress if people aren't rewarded in some way for doing extra. But the unlimited acumulation of wealth by a few select people will be the death of this nation.A hybrid is necessary the problem is how much communism to how much capitialism?
gamesmaster35 1 year ago
@gamesmaster35 I feel the same way about communism as you. Capitalism without regulation will cause corruption. What people don't seem to understand is corruption isn't going away. Just because you don't like something it's not safe to pretend you can just wish it away with happy thoughts/ideas. I feel what we need here in the states is regulated capitalism with of course enough taxation to keep social programs alive. Regulation to some degree will fix a lot of problems.
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem You are not right there. It entirely depends on the method used to achieve it. In modern times there are many other possibilities towards proper communism.
You cannot say that it will not work because it has never been done state-wise.
It is also better for a country to aim towards Utopia, rather than bathe itself in a corrupt system.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool What I find laughable is your inability to understand that corruption is everywhere. And when given and opportunity to take more advantage of other it will do so. Communism only allows corruption to do so at an alarming rate. Don't worry yourself with trying to explain to which you can not. Keep talking about "Utopia" and thinking your way of government is bliss, when history proves it is not. Never did I once say we're better, just the lesser of two evils.
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem What I find laughable is your lack of knowledge as to what pure communism actually is.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool You actually believe something pure exists? You do, don't you?!!!! Explain to me why communism isn't corruptible? Explain why it hasn't worked, then tell me how we make it work. And could you please leave the fairy tale description out of your explanation! K, thanks!
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem Communism is stateless, there is no private property in modern sense and there is no form of government (only direct democracy). There is not even a slight chance of corruption under pure communism, unless you abandon the whole system and turn to something completely different.. then it isn't communist anymore. It will be fascist, capitalist, corporatist, dictatorship (etc..) corruption.
The sweet thing about communism is that you profit as society profits, through teamwork, instead of
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool So... there is no government, and no private property. So... I'd be able to take what ever land you may be inhabiting and claim it for my own and use it the way I see fit. Wouldn't that create a problem? What about laws, who would enforce them?
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem read over my comments. Trust me, pure communism is completely thought through and even if society would encounter problems, they would be resolved through direct democracy.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool I've read your comments... Nothing explains to any of my questions. Good luck on your little commune!
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem what questions? Am I your little information machine? Why don't you research it yourself?
Ask me a question and I will do my best to answer it.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool I guess you won't be a teacher in this new society. I've read your comments you refer to. Nothing you've said explains what would happen in the case of emergency and who organizes this system who pays who. Also who is going to pay for college? Who is going to pay for those to attend college who do not have the means in which to pay but have a high grade point average. What about the leeches on the system? Who is going to work for those who do not?
shaokem 1 year ago
@PesiCool If a system is created by the people and organization is implemented how then will it not become a governing body? Hence the birth of a government.
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem Ohh my god you are one thick headed individual!
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool Explain to me then how a government wouldn't happen then? call it what ever you want, the governing system will be a government. The people speak, who do they speak to? Other people that carry that message to whom? Kinda funny how our government was created by the people for the people. Yet you don't understand it or of course don't believe in it. Look we'll never see eye to eye, you'll just call me ignorant for not agreeing with you and I'll just continue to enjoy your lack of reality
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem I swear not to call you ignorant. If you want to discuss this further you can give me the name of any im program account you have so I can add you there.
You have gotten into a whole different area in regards to the foundation of the USA.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool Collective economies of any sort are doomed for failure. I was just reading in one of my religious studies books about the Christian farming communities that sprung up in the mid 1800's and yes they all failed. Not for religious reasons, ...but the fact that unequal productivity equals people mooching off of the backs of others which invariably becomes intolerable. Always remember Man is inherently stupid, lazy and greedy and at every opportunity he will disappoint you.
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem I for one am a very hard worker and many people I know are as well. I predict no change in our "habits" under a communist system, except some for the better.
What I think was the failure for these communes was that they didn't design a work quota based system and they didn't enforce it, i.e. they let some people get away with working too little and then gave them more than they needed.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool I'm happy that you're a hard worker! And also your friends as well. Tell me, do you know that not every one is not a hard worker. And that many people will not work harder for less money to support them. Also about this enforcing rules/laws, who is going to be enforcing anything without a government? Gather your thoughts and think this out clearly. Perhaps you're too close-minded to see.

PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool Oh, so more automation! Wow! Yeah, that would go over very well. How about we just give everyone desk jobs and have robots do all the laborious work.
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem You really know how to twist words, don't you?
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool No... I'm not twisting anything. You said and I quote "In a modern society we could also emphasize building machines to do the large majority of the work". Yeah, we could reserve manpower, but for what? How many office clerks do we need? Look, there are dumb people and there are smart people, there are weak people and there are strong people. Not everyone is equal, no matter what you were taught growing up. Try and come up with explanations instead of pipe dreams.
shaokem 1 year ago
@PesiCool One more thing... your idea would work in a very small commune. And, sadly that's about it. Even then you would have problems. Every system would have problems. But trying to equalize people who are far from equal is impossible.
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem You simply have no qualification to make such a claim, besides I have thought these things through, and there are whole libraries of work dedicated to developing societies with such systems. You are simply unrealistic and too narrow minded to actually look into what communism is. If you think this system we live under which is the root cause of all of our modern problems is realistic, then you are insane.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool Where do you get off making such assumptions? You say you have thought these things out, well good for you! I hope in your mind it makes absolute sense. I never once said our present government is the greatest or that we don't have problems that need fixing. What I will say is communism in any form no matter how you stretch it, is not the answer. If you're going to berate me for my opinion, no harm done as it's typical for someone in your shoes. Have a good day my communist friend!
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem Tell me, do you actually know what pure communism is? I'm assuming you don't.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool I'm beginning to think pure communism is just something you've made up. Anyone could just as easily coin the term 'Pure Capitalism' and say it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Would they be correct? NO! they would be incorrect and would only be speaking from opinion and not fact/s. Look, you keep asking if I know what pure communism is, you've not explained anything that hasn't any holes in its theory. So... what exactly are you trying to get me to believe? That you're right?
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem
1) Google: Pure communism
2) enjoy
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool "Strictly speaking, pure communism is a stage of social development where material and productive forces are advanced to a degree where actual freedom (freedom from necessity, and thus from wage labor and alienation from work) for every person is possible" Again, this explanation of 'pure communism' still answers no questions... its only a theory. Pays no attention to the many who do not work, the many who will not work extra for those who do not lend a helping hand. Man is lazy
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem You exclude the capability of machines to take over some jobs and mass production capabilities with advanced technology. Besides, a work quota or something else of similar nature, would be implemented and people will get what they need, according to their ability to benefit the society.
How do you make those who do not want to work, work in a capitalist society anyway? Capitalism causes many problems that otherwise wouldn't exist. Yet, capitalists claim they are better managed in a....
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool Exactly... you can't make them work. But you limit them to benefits life can have when effort is not put forth. This is why we have section 8 housing. This is why we have a wrecked healthcare system. All I've been trying to say all along is these problems aren't going away. The theory of the void is once you remove something i.e. a problem it will be replaced with another set of problems. Pro's and Con's to everything dear, Watson
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem Capitalism never solves any problems, it only moves them to be dealt with later. Communism solves problems. I think that a stronger motivator than money and wealth would be need, comradeship and happiness. If you work hard 16 hours a day just to survive, I highly doubt you will be as happy and productive as an individual that works doing the thing he loves doing, without being concerned about having to pay the bills, taxes, etc.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@shaokem They can always be forced to work or put into some sort of programs. (I don't see how that's inhumane as communism would undoubtibly offer them a more variety of jobs where wage concerns are out of the question, and in capitalism they are also forced, more brutally into worse jobs so they will survive)
PesiCool 1 year ago
@shaokem capitalist society.... what the hell?!
I think these words sum up your doubts about communism:
From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. - Karl Marx
He who does not work, neither shall he eat. - Vladimir Lenin
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool exactly... there are going to be needy people, and there has to be a way to care for them. Many of them can't work for health reasons, others choose not to work simply cause they are lazy. How are they going to be cared for when others are made to put forth their efforts while the lazy still do nothing. This happens today, and yes laws to enforce them to keep up their end of the section8 deal... but the problem is lack of enforcement with many laws in our day.
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem Unemployment is man made, there are huge amount of people who are capable and willing to work, but are prevented to by this imaginary monetary system which has ruined societies. Like I said before, there are many measures that can be taken to fix the "problem" of laziness, although I wouldn't consider that a major problem like you do.
First off, machines & robots could replace many human jobs, which is happening today and is horrible for the proletariat on a capitalist society, but...
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool Dude... Jobs are scarce in many areas because of exporting jobs! Once the trade markets were open with other countries and ours and the ability to move production overseas became a cheap and easy reality. Guess what happened.., the Human Element happened. Look at other countries that stay within their borders. Sweden is one shining example... A republic/socialist governed by democracy. They make it work because borders are closed and very little international trade.
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem They export jobs to cheaper places, because then they can earn more money. They can also get away with oppressing the people more easily. You can not live your life without the suffering of others under this system. You can however live an even better life if the world was globally communist without leaders and governments.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool There would have to be a governing body of some sort.
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem No.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool Probably not what you think I have in mind. In some way there would have to be enforcement of rules/laws. Just because everyone has what they need doesn't mean John Doe wouldn't want more for himself. Not everyone is like minded.
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem Yes, there would be a direct democracy and laws would be formed accordingly. There can be many ways of achieving this and I have thought up a few myself, which might be implemented in a future commune... who knows? There will also be the automatically armed forces of the whole nation, i.e. the whole nation arms itself and prevents people from messing things up. This would, however, require regulations. There is a variety of methods possible and like I said before, I have personally
PesiCool 1 year ago
@shaokem thought a few up to solve each matter, with a rather large group of people I am in contact with at the moment. We aim to make... something happen. I'll rest at that.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@shaokem great for them in a communist one. This will effectively reduce the manpower needed for society to function, as well as alleviating us from the hardest jobs. Work quotas could be reduced and people would have more free time. Mass production would also serve a purpose, but the difference between a communist society and a capitalist one is that there would be much more practicality and less wastefulness in communism. We wouldn't need much of the crap we create today which also happens
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool This is one huge problem with capitalism... is consuming consuming and then more consuming. I've had the same car for 10 years. Before that was the car I got during high school. I hate shopping... what guy does? I do how ever buy quality over quantity. Which is a lesson many have lost and it's hard to keep with Walmarts everywhere selling chinese crap. Anyways, I'm getting off subject a bit. I'm a firm believe if anything goes unchecked and done without care recklessness will happen.
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem And that is why any market and well... just capitalist principles overall are a horrible idea. They give the room for the individual to become more powerful than anything, which in return reflects on his interests being above society's. Have you ever played monopoly?
I agree, I choose quality over quantity. Consumerism is ensuring that products are being destroyed as fast as possible, so people throw them away and buy new ones. It is extremely wasteful and bad overall.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool I'm with ya there, bro. One day, probably in my lifetime the people will rise up. No question about it. It happened I'll say post-mature for the tea-partiers... meaning they spoke up to little to late. Where were they when Bush rammed ahead with Iraq? When everyone, the world even had it's sites on Afghanistan. Don't even get me started. Lost good friends over there. Anyways... Change is needed. Is that change communism? Or will what we have stay and laws actually be enforced 360!
shaokem 1 year ago
I say 360 to mean laws being enforced on everyone, without exception to who they are. Justice was supposed to be blind. But... not so much nowadays.
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem People mistake communism for an authoritarian dictatorship that controls every aspect of human life, tortures and enslaves it's people etc., etc., when it couldn't be further from the truth. It is the opposite and people tend to support the fascist ideology which is slowly murdering our planet.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool Wastefulness is a huge problem for everyone... not just America, not just capitalism. Hell, our capitalism is giving the chinese more power with our vastly uneven trade. They buy nothing from the US in the form of material/goods only bonds/our debt. This is what happens when balances are not made. Becoming more efficient will happen, will we go communist because of that? Guess we'll wait and see.
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem But capitalism could not sustain itself, it requires an infinite universe, which we sadly do not live in. You need cheap labor and all the bad aspects of current poverished countries, so you can profit. I want communism were we all work together to reach a good society for all. It is possible, we are producing more food than all humanity can eat, just to name an example. The unequal distribution of wealth and the market are destroying everything. Why can't people just open their eyes?!
PesiCool 1 year ago
@shaokem to destroy this planet in the longterm. Of course we would treat for the sick and disabled, an individual can fulfill his work quota and produce for more than himself. (Farmers, builders, workers, etc.)
I don't see why society couldn't function as you claim.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool You haven't read all my comments to you, or answered those as of yet. So I'm to assume you have no answer. But I'm sure you'll have some pretentious retort, excluding you from having to come forth with an answer as to which you have none. Good day! And Merry Christmas!!!
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem
Do you have any basic idea of what communism is? seems like
PesiCool 1 year ago

So if we have nothing who is providing us with materials? and who is regulating the funds in which these companies making such materials? How can you have order without springing forth a government?

What if someone abandons communism and robs another, stealing all they have... I mean everything. Their money, tools for work, transportation for work and even their food, and even their dog! Who is going to see to it the man gets his things renewed to him or returned to him? What if no one wants to help the guy out cause he's a mean old bastard and isn't really a team player to begin with. What about all the people around today mooching off the system who are not team players?
shaokem 1 year ago
@shaokem competition.
PesiCool 1 year ago
@PesiCool Here we go with the name calling... I never once called you closed minded, only perhaps misguided in thinking the world you speak of is actually possible. Is capitalism superior, hell no! Not when corruption takes hold and no one is doing their checks and balances. No one system is complete, no one system is superior. But like I've said, the lesser or two evils. What you've explained like all other like you, sounds great on paper!!!
